Friday and Saturday will see more cloud but still sunny spells and scattered showers with highest rainfall amounts in Northwest. If this holds, we may lose much of the dry time Sunday. Outside of NW NJ, the Hudson Valley, and NW CT, rain could linger into Sunday afternoon. This all hinges on how quickly that low forms and moves offshore. Timeline: rain builds Saturday evening → peaks overnight into Sunday morning → very slow clearing. If the low fully forms and gets cut off, some rain could even hang on into Monday (as shown on this run). PIX11 News
