🌧️WEEKEND RAIN WILL BE AN ANNOYANCE… CONCERNED IT MAY LINGER LONGER INTO SUNDAY Model trends now develop a low near Atlantic City Sunday morning, slowing the clearing line and keeping rain over NYC longer. If this holds, we may lose much of the dry time Sunday. Outside of NW NJ, the Hudson Valley, and NW CT, rain could linger into Sunday afternoon. This all hinges on how quickly that low forms and moves offshore. Timeline: rain builds Saturday evening → peaks overnight into Sunday morning → very slow clearing. If the low fully forms and gets cut off, some rain could even hang on into Monday (as shown on this run). PIX11 News

Scattered showers and storms are possible overnight and into Friday morning. Severe weather is not in the forecast for North Texas. Much of Friday and then Saturday are dry. Scattered shower and storm chances then go back up on Sunday and into Monday.
