For those who don’t know: Unity is a powerful, widely used game engine. It’s the tool behind countless games, from indie hits like Hollow Knight, Cuphead, and Among Us to massive titles like Pokémon GO and Genshin Impact.

Just a reminder to Sunnis who want unity with Iran and the Shia: this is what they portray during Ashura. They blame you for it and call you “Sons of Yazid.” They are still blaming you for the death of Hussein and his infant son over 1,000 years ago. Reminds you of anyone? While scrolling through reels today, a video of the Vadapav Girl suddenly came on my timeline. At first, I thought it was just a normal reel where she was getting a haircut. But after a few seconds, I realized the reel was full of unnecessary body-focused shots to grab attention. Just listen to the sound effect when the boy touches her body. You will understand what they were trying to do. Is this what people are doing now just for a few more views and subscribers? The sad part is that thousands of kids also watch and follow such creators. What kind of example are they setting for them?

Turso is an incredible technical feat. A Rust rewrite of sqlite, with an async-first architecture, incoming support for concurrent writes, vector search, and browser / wasm support out of the box. I think this has a very good chance of being a foundational piece of infrastructure of the vibe-coding age. On-demand, sqlite-compatible global databases that can also run in-browser and on-device. The pace at which the project is evolving is most definitely *not normal*. Pekka Enberg and Glauber Costa are built different. Demo:

in a similar vein to Kieran Klaassen & Every 📧 's "compound engineering", I've used a prompt every day for the past few months called "self-improving Cline" (linked below). at the end of the task, it evaluates any rule I had turned on and proposes updates based on any friction points during the task. now, all my clinerules are extremely refined and improving every time I use them.
