Brentford put quite a bit of emphasis on this done they and a result take fewer shots than most teams but have a higher proportion of of higher xG efforts?

Making the ‘wrong choices’ up front seems to be an affliction recently and not just with Tav. We seem unable to make the final killer pass or clinical finish on so many occasions with so many players. Penalties and free kicks around the box seem to have dried up too.

@ibroxrocks Personally, I was more concerned about the other 748 things we were doing wrong Eg. Diomande spinning round and round and round for, seemingly no reason.

One of the criticisms I've seen in the past is that we try to walk it in / try to score the perfect goal. The extra pass (or two) can be frustrating if not executed properly

That’s why football was unreal in the 90’s, 00’s and 10’s. It’s now being taken over by boring data driven football computer experts telling players how to play. Both examples there Tav was right to shoot, that’s what him the player he was for 3 seasons and we need more of it
