Recently, some folks here were mocking Uthman bin Farooq for saying that Sa'eed didn't hear from Abu Huraira (ra). This is an obvious slip-up. Everyone makes mistakes. This clip is from his lecture about the life of Sa'eed bin al-Musayyib from January, 2024.

One thing I always have done since I became a Muslim, was when someone made a claim about another Muslim - famous or not- I approached the accused and asked their side of the story. What is sad is that we all hate madkhalis, but many from Ahlul Sunnah have fallen into the same trap Being just and fair and ascertaining the truth is a great casualty of quick sound bites.
