Back in the old days we called this "following your shot". Not something you see these days with all 5 guys on offense standing around the 3 point line

Yup. And anyone under 40 will tell you he wasn’t athletic and couldn’t keep up in todays game. Larry was great (and I despised him).

Yeah. It was. I watched it as it unfolded on TV and am still in amazement. Bottom line.…it’s fundamental basketball…follow your shot..…and Bird was best at doing the grunt work.
