WhatsApp for Windows uses more memory than many expect. A recent report found that the app can consume over 1.2 GB of RAM after opening and switching between chats. The issue began after Meta replaced the older native Windows app with a WebView2-based version, While this simplifies development, it also makes the app heavier and less efficient. Users have complained about slower performance, delayed notifications, and the app continuing to run in the background even after closing the window. he old native version used much less memory and performed better.

You guys are gonna love my app, Mirage. Fully wireless peer to peer screen sharing (like Sidecar) at pixel perfect streaming. 120fps, Display P3, up to 5k (supports the Studio Display). It resizes the stream to be exactly the window size on your client (iPad, Vision Pro, or another Mac). Can work wired. Here’s the real kicker, you can stream individual windows and have it be more cohesive with iPadOS. Just want Xcode and Terminal? Stream both every window from Xcode and Terminal as separate windows on your device as if they’re running directly on your device

The new tiling groups are fantastic. Especially on a small display. You can give every app tabs and easily fit a lot more on each workspace. Super + G to start a group, Super + Alt + Arrows to move windows into it, Super + Alt + G to move a window out.

This Bada app, which is still under development, enables file sharing between non-iOS phones. Whether you are using an international Samsung model or a China version Samsung model, it can share files with OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, Honor, and even Huawei HarmonyOS devices. In essence, Bada temporarily gives Android and HarmonyOS devices that do not have native Quick Share support a Quick Share-like file sharing capability. I tested it myself. After installing Bada on the Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max through ZhuoyiTong, it was able to transfer files with a Samsung phone successfully. The demo below shows file sharing between the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max. The process is very convenient. Just select photos or videos in the gallery, choose Bada the same way you would use Samsung sharing, then tap confirm on the Huawei phone to receive the files. Of course, you can also easily share files with OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, Honor, and other Android phones as well.
