I remember I had asked Brandon Aiyuk in the offseason if he would be down to do a YouTube live interview and he said that it wasn’t a good time and he’d let me know if something worked out. Naturally I just thought he was good off doing the interview which is perfectly fine but right after the 49ers lost to Philly in the NFCCG, he reached out and dm’d me if I wanted to setup an interview. Dave Portnoy says he paid $10,000 for an AI clone to narrate his audiobook for him — and it was “actually scary” how dead-on it sounded. His parents couldn’t even tell the difference. Then Audible shut it down, and he had to record every word himself. “I could only do 15 minutes [of recording a day] because it was that hard for me to read it. I hated it. I tried to get out of it. I knew that I had to go and learn what a movie was, not just my experience of going and watching a movie. So I went and sat in Truffaut's Day for Night (1972), watched it for three days straight, eight hours at a time and memorized it shot-for-shot. I got past the story, all the original and secondary experience, so I could study what it was that I was really watching. Film is really sort of a chain that's really linear. Yet when it's all strung together, it just sort of feels like an experience. It takes quite a while to be able to deconstruct that experience to figure out what you really saw." Even when I'd be at a bar people at the next table would be talking about it without knowing I was there "Is it right for them to do that?" We heard that so much and just around that time so many things happened to me personally and I had a lot on my mind about what I should do. This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I didn’t argue I just told him I helped him out when I could, but I wasn’t about to go out of my way because he didn’t have a car and besides I didn’t want to be late for work. He didn’t speak to me for the rest of the semester because of it, something tells me I was better off not offering to help in the first place.

Debbie Harry on why she dyed her Blonde hair to auburn-brown colour for "Videodrome" (1983) & David Cronenberg's reaction to it: "Interviewer: You’d done a few movies at this point, but 'Videodrome' was very much your breakthrough movie moment. Had you been actively looking to start acting? Harry: Yes, I had. I had gone on a lot of meetings with casting directors, and I had read for things. I was dragging myself around Hollywood, going to studios and offices and meeting as many people as I could. I did have different personal agents at the time, but Cronenberg contacted me about this. I guess he had a visual idea, so that suited me fine. The only thing that happened was, for some bizarre thinking process, I thought that I should not have blonde hair, that I shouldn’t be Blondie in this picture. So I went to a more natural auburn-brown color, and I arrived in Canada and he said, “Well, your hair is not blonde,” because he had envisioned this character having blonde hair. Interviewer: I was going to ask whether it was your idea to dye your hair. I’d assumed it was coming more from Cronenberg saying, “I want a separation between your music persona and the character you’re playing here.” Harry: It was really just the opposite. I think he was really shocked and disappointed. I thought it was good for the character, and it helped me to be that character. I think had I faced every day with the same blonde hair it would have been a little bit different for me. Interviewer: Do you think Nicki would be different with blonde hair than she was with auburn hair? Harry: No, I don’t think so. For me, it really was just something to help me do the performance. I had been so firmly entrenched in the Blondie persona. In a way, I’d created the character of Blondie, so this was another person. Karina openly apologized and clarified about her jacket and insta post 💙: But recently there was a bit of an issue and bcs of that I started wishing not just for myself but for everyone around me to live peacefully without any trouble. I honestly had no such intention at all so I really wanted to talk about it. And I felt really sorry about that. I just wanted to say that I’m truly sorry for causing concern to our fans and so many others people. I really want to say sorry. I remember going out with the staff on a chilly day, buying an outer layer, posting on social media to communicate with fans and then getting contacted and having to delete it. All of that made me realize how ignorant I was. Even if I was abroad, it was still something I should have known and been aware of. So it really made me feel like I need to be more aware and study these things more deeply. I think it’s true that I was just very ignorant. And in any case, since I’m the one who put the story out there, it’s something I have to take responsibility for. But it was really hard seeing the other members get affected too

storytime with kai #1 ⭐️ 🐧 this one time…when we were doing the jacket shoot for ‘deja vu’…what was the name again? the concept where i’m wearing a headband, we filmed it outdoors…the one with the rockband vibes 🐧 we filmed it outdoors and we filmed it in january so it was really cold and since we kept moving, sweating and running…the way i remember it, we had a 3 day break after that shoot; i’m not kidding when i say that i was in bed for 3 days straight because i had a cold 🐧 it was really rough so i texted soobin hyung and was like “soobin hyung, please save me” so soobin hyung came to my room and gave me cold medicine and really helped me a lot…the cold medicine that soobin hyung gave me had an instant effect so it really helped a lot 🐧 at the time, we had 3 days off but i was really sick right from day 1 because i caught a cold…and it was snowing! it was actually snowing and i went to the convenience store for a bit because i needed to eat so i went to the convenience store to buy food and i was walking back like this with the food in my hand while getting hit by the snow so it really looked like a movie scene 🐧 it was a good memory…i already had a cold and i was sick but it got worse because i went out in the snow

Because he's extraordinarily humble, Dr. Paul said it was because of the ideas and that he was standing on the shoulders of giants. Tucker Carlson’s monologue before his interview with Ron Paul captures it exactly: It can't be reduced to the fact that he was a libertarian—that overstates it and understates it. Ron Paul created a lasting movement because he is an honest man and has been a consistent moral voice. And for that, he was seen as crazy in 2008 and 2012. But now people recognize that Ron Paul was right.
