Remember when I started posting about this mass surveillance systems a couple years ago and people in the comments said "they don't retain the data," "you're just anti police," or "they're just tracking licensce plates?" I remember. Flock reportedly attempted to sell 5 years (I thought it was only... show more

“Flock doesn’t retain your data” Retains data. “Voting machines have no internet access” Has internet access. “J6 suspect was at home playing with her puppies” No puppies. No video. Not home. Why do people still believe what they hear from the media?

this

To think a system with the capability to store valuable data that someone would pay for won't be used to do so is about the height of naivete.

💯

My town is wired. Police cars etc. no meetings ever occur that asks the citizens. It’s an expression of how even local governments view their neighbors.

of course

The scary part for me is that a huge % of the population has no clue how powerful computers are today. All that surveillance data can likely be matched to credit card, bank, hell, even Netflix in near real time. It's the infrastructure of total tyranny and a social credit score.

Some of the smaller rural towns near me added Flock cameras - I emailed them & told them I would boycott their town and spend my money in towns that didnt have cameras stalking me. Those Flock cameras came down within a week. Im sure I wasnt the only one sending them messages.

Reportedly Columbus, Ohio pd dashcams are also constantly scanning & reading plate info. Like mobile flock cameras. Columbus also bagged their cams as they take a pause while investigating the unauthorized access by a CPD officer assigned to a city council schmuck!

all third party private data sales should be heavily prohibited.

@Rafa_Mangual I thought they don’t retain the data. 5 years not 30 days as you said

They expect us to come for them That's what it's all about

I'm guessing they "delete" the data from one server and just store it in another. They'd likely delete from the immediate searchable data base and store for...posterity?

When the mag capacity ban was being pushed in CO, every boomer I saw was programmed to say "but the burden of proof will be on the prosecution" if you get charged for having supposedly grandfathered mags. Yeah, that's the normal process, not something new in that law.

Mike, you keep fighting and exposing the tyranny accordingly. Thank you sir. The ONLY GunTuber that I can trust completely. #2 is @jjreeves, but only because he is a lawyer-I retain a healthy skepticism with his channel.

“It’s just the metadata!”

Unless there is a very tough law restricting Flock, then Flock will keep and sell everyone’s data and lie about it.

My agency started using them when they first came out. We were told they were basically permanent ALPRs that worked exactly as mobile ALPRs on patrol cars. No stored data, only hits on plates that had a legitimate reason to be entered in the system. So much for that, all lies.

I mostly agree and your concerns and they are well founded but I think the word you meant to use was "unsecured". Insecure would mean it needs a therapist. 😀

have you heard their CEO speak?

If it's the guy I'm thinking of, he was very cringe

And I keep telling everyone, just wait until car companies start selling your data (audio, video, travel patterns, etc.) to data brokers as a backdoor revenue stream from 2027 onwards, because they absolutely will.

Oh, no I have been right there with you including with my local PD whom don't seem to even know all the capabilities of these insidious devices!

Yep. They just tried to SELL FIVE YEARS of data they said they "don't keep". Flock/Axon IS Big Brother....with a product catalog of OUR privacy for sale to anyone with the cash. @tedcruz @HawleyMO @RepNancyMace @TheJusticeDept @POTUS @VP @AGToddBlanche @JudgeJeanine

A vitally important point to make here. You can't search what you do not already have captured, stored, and properly indexed. The old "wire tap" function of live communication taping is long gone. Technology used in digital domain is mass collection and store, then search.

Alabama bought the 5 years. It will cost legislators their jobs if this doesn’t change. The States don’t own the data. And Flock can sell it to anyone they choose.

We were warned on February 24, 1978 about our dystopian present. The show The Rockford Files had a 2-part episode (S4E21 & S4E22) titled The House On Willis Avenue. Watch the last 5 minutes of episode 22.

Fuck jews fuck zionists fuck their supporters and fuck the cowards that don’t have the balls to call them out #fuckjews

A couple years ago? Posts about the ChiComs developing their Social Credit System; people being monitored and controlled electronically. Today? Surveillance everywhere and rush to build data centers to beat the ChiComs; “it’s the future.” Once the Ds cheat and get control again?

They also run everything through AI which retains everything.

I remember during covid, I had friends who were missionaries in China. I remember them telling me about how bad it was there, that if they caught you on camera you could get your door welded shut.

@MattDuCote Wow. I’ve been attending a citizens police Academy in my city and they said that they had lost the contract with flock and we’re trying to get it back but also that the data is only eight days worth. So I guess they’re lying.

To be fair, there is a large portion of your followers who are thin blue line dick suckers. They sped right past licking boots and went straight to sucking dick. No one with a brain cell in their head parroted that shit.

I’m in the cyber business, believe me when I tell you companies like Flock don’t give 2 shits about cybersecurity. It’s all profits. Plus, due to AI the evil hackers have gotten extreme advantage and are getting into EVERYTHING. Believe it.

This nationally networked system may come in handy if you were to need to maintain control over the citizens who are becoming increasingly aware.
