The theological gymnastics are almost impressive. Trying to twist Scripture to claim God is "non-binary" or "transgender" is an Olympic-level stretch. Saying "God is spirit" or "God is not a man" doesn't mean He's genderless or trapped in an alternative state of being: It means He is God, the transcendent Creator of the universe. He isn't a human being limited by biological sex. Yet, throughout Scripture, God intentionally chooses to reveal Himself to us using paternal language, and Christ explicitly taught us to pray to God as our Father. But when you're desperate to validate a modern political ideology, I guess you'll try to rewrite the entire Bible to fit your narrative.
