No one better than Ryno. So sad, but what a full life. Great career and even better family. What a man. RIP.

A piece of my childhood died today

Though I wasn’t alive to watch him play, I knew the importance he had on baseball and the city of Chicago. 23 forever💙

It was good to see Ryno hug Sammy at the Cubs Convention at the end.

Well, another part of my childhood gone. This week just sucks.

Sadly, I was stationed overseas w/ the Navy in the 80s &didn’t have access to Cubs baseball. So I missed the Ryne Sandberg years. Luckily, I have been able to see video of his games . I understand why he was so beloved. What a great player & even better human being. RIP Ryno 😢💔
