Right now, I’m stuck relying on slow third-party ChargePoint charger that takes 11+ hours for a full charge, while the nearest Tesla Supercharger is hours away. Millions of people visit Yellowstone every year, and EV adoption keeps growing. Just stopped by a new 24-stall V4 Tesla Supercharger that's about to open in Goleta, California (next to Santa Barbara). The site also includes two pull-through charging stalls for EVs towing trailers. The signs have little Cyber trailers on them. Combined with the existing 12-stall V3 Supercharger right next to it, there will be a total of 36 charging stalls at this site, making it one of the largest in Central California.

This was our experience at the Buc-ee's Beaver in Sevierville TN. The last thing I would do is park at the gas pump and go into the store and shop for an hour or two. I wish people would respect an EV charging station with that in mind. We were lucky and got a charging spot but after we filmed this, all of the empty spots were taken by ICE cars. Several EV’s arrived and tried to find a spot but had to keep circling. Elon, could Tesla go one step further with the hosts and post signs stating For EV Charging Only? Public charging is still a joke. I’m off the Florida Turnpike where millions of cars pass through, and every single EV Connect charger here is broken. Zero options for CCS1 cars for more than 40 miles. Ended up lending my spare NACS adapter to a seemingly stranded Ioniq 5 driver. He seemed surprised adapters like that even existed. Unless you’re charging on Tesla, Rivian, or Ionna or Alpitronic hardware, a lot of public charging infrastructure is impossible to fully trust.
