From stealth, privileged to introduce American Turbines. We're building a new class of small, highly manufacturable gas turbines for rapid-to-deploy energy generation. Abundant energy is the soil from which everything else grows: intelligence, industry, the next century of work. The only way forward is energy generation we can scale by orders of magnitude. We're building that here at American Turbines. Hyper manufacturable, by design. American Turbines

American Turbines is out of stealth today! They are building a new class of small, highly manufacturable gas turbines for rapid-to-deploy energy generation. And here in SF. Abundant energy is the soil from which everything else grows: intelligence, industry, the next century of work. Super lucky to support John McElhone from day one of American Turbines as their seed lead investor. Showcase at HQ for interested customers, hires and investors this week. Onward!

😂 NY Knicks Owner James Dolan's Super Pac has just released a billboard campaign supporting NY Gubernatorial Candidate Bruce Blakeman and they're SPOT-ON! There are currently 5 of these being seen across the Empire State at the following locations, with 6 more on the way! - Near the Outerbridge Crossing connecting Staten Island to New Jersey - In the Bronx near the George Washington Bridge connecting to the Garden State - Interstate 287 in Rockland County heading to Jersey - I-84 bordering Pennsylvania East of Albany heading to Massachusetts - Route 97 near Vermont Roadways near Buffalo and Plattsburgh heading to Canada. Hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers have left for Greener Pastures since Kathy Hochul took office. She has stated in the past that she is perfectly FINE with more conservative people moving to Florida "where they belong." The truth is that moderates and even liberals in the Tri-State area all know this area absolutely sucks you dry in every way and cannot WAIT to leave. New York, Vote BRUCE for Governor! 🇺🇸

FYI this is a real Massachusetts Eversource bill. $1,553.39 total. Only $437.79 is for actual gas supply. The rest is funding Governor Healey’s green energy agenda. Solar farms buried under snow in the winter. Wind turbines collapsing into the ocean. EV charging stations for a car you don’t even own. She killed two natural gas pipelines for this. No wonder why 1 in 3 people are looking to move to cheaper states like New Hampshire and Florida…

Iran develops bladeless wind turbines that capture seven times more energy The new design replaces traditional blades with a magnetic-levitation rotor and an intelligent 360-degree wind-guidance system — capturing wind energy without the need for complex yaw mechanisms. 🔸 Multiple units can be stacked vertically — up to ten on a single tower 🔸 The bladeless design is quieter, more compact, requires less maintenance, and reduces safety risks associated with rotating blades 🔸 The turbine can operate at wind speeds as low as 2.5–3 m/s, making it suitable for areas where traditional turbines struggle 🔸 The system can also be paired with solar panels for hybrid renewable energy setups The technology is now entering the prototype stage.

It’s mesmerizing to see this scale of wind farming. For the last 30 mins on the way to Kanyakumari, one has seen thousands of such windmills at work. No wonder Tamil Nadu is rocking: From Nuclear Energy to Wind Farms, this state is showing the way to the rest of India 🇮🇳

✨🇨🇳Chinese enterprises have independently developed this system, which is the world's first to install two 8.3 MW offshore wind turbines on a single floating foundation, with a total installed capacity of 16.6 MW. It generates 54 million kWh of green electricity annually, enough to power 30,000 three-person households for an entire year.

Right now at 11:31 am January 27th , 2026 on this frigid Maine morning after BILLIONS of dollars spent: ALL the wind turbines in ALL of New England are contributing only 3.92% of the power to our grid. Or in other words - only 754 MW of the current system demand of 17,764 MW. Other contributing resources: Refuse: 1.20% Solar: 0.88% Hydro: 3% Net imports: 16% Wood: 1.84% Landfill gas: 0.16% Coal is at <1% Once again, it is OIL at 29%, natural gas at 24% and nuclear at 19% keeping our lights on. 🚨🇺🇸 TRUMP ADMIN SLAMS WIND TURBINES OVER BALD EAGLE DEATHS… BUT CUTS OIL & GAS RULES The Interior Department demanded full legal protection for bald eagles from wind energy projects - the same law Trump tried to gut 4 months ago for oil and gas companies. Critics say it’s less about saving America’s bird and more about whacking an industry he’s disliked since losing a legal fight over a Scottish wind farm that spoiled the view from his golf course. While wind projects face extra scrutiny for eagle deaths, coal, oil, and gas keep getting fast-tracked, even under weaker wildlife protections. It’s a bird, it’s the law… but apparently, it depends on whose project is killing them. Source: NYT, Rock B

NOW: Hundreds of state workers are rallying at the State Capitol against Gov. Gavin Newsom's new return-to-office mandate that takes effect today requiring most state employees to work in person four days per week instead of the previous minimum of two (for most state workers). They argue telework has proven effective and productive, adding the return-to-office mandate will increase traffic and add costs for everyday workers and taxpayers. On the other side, Newsom argues the return to office mandate will improve productivity and improve downtowns. SEIU Local 1000 says the demonstration also comes as its contract with the state has expired. No agreement has been reached for a new contract.

BREAKING: Iran’s South Pars gas field was just struck by an Israeli Drone. It is the world’s largest gas field and accounts for about 10% of global gas reserves. Looks like energy prices won’t be dropping 50% like Trump promised. Another broken promise like the one that he made to sign a new Iranian nuclear deal after tearing the other one up.

“Let’s spend £4.5 trillion on net zero over the next 25 years. Let’s sign a major energy deal with Chins but not publish the details. Let’s ban new oil and gas licences in the North Sea but spaff away £40billion buying North Sea oil and gas from Norway. Let’s buy coking coal shipments from Japan but ban UK coal mining. Let’s plaster thousands of acres of farmland with solar panels but spend £50million on sun dimming experiments. Let’s give Drax an estimated £1.8billlion in taxpayer funded subsidies on top of the £11billion it has already received despite Drax burning an amount of wood equivalent to 300 million trees. Let’s give £1.5 billion of taxpayers’ money to wind power companies not to generate power from their wind turbines. And let’s spend £30billion of taxpayers’ money on carbon capture machines but put pensioners, farmers and the disabled into financial peril by falsely claiming there’s a £22bn black hole.”

Trump just signed an executive order renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America. Effective immediately in the United States. Same play as the Gulf of America. People called the first one a joke. They can call this one a joke too. Federal maps, federal agencies, and the water on our shore do not have to take their cue from Ottawa. This is not about hurting a lake. It is about who writes the terms after Canada walked away from fair trade. If Ontario wants the old name, it can keep saying it. America does not have to. Names follow power. Waters on our side of the line get an American name. That is the point.

🇺🇦 🇱🇹 Svyrydenko: Ukraine will receive additional volumes of liquefied natural gas from the Baltic states. An agreement on long-term LNG supplies through the Klaipeda terminal was reached during intergovernmental consultations in Vilnius. The liquefied natural gas can be supplied by both American and Middle Eastern producers. This agreement is strategically important for Ukraine. Diversifying gas supplies through the Baltic route reduces dependence on other directions and strengthens energy security, especially amid continued Russian aggression and potential threats to traditional energy infrastructure. Mayor Zohran Mamdani is pushing a new proposed 1% surcharge on all-cash home purchases over $1 million in NYC. Cash buyers would owe thousands extra at closing — on top of already punishing costs and taxes. Instead of fixing housing affordability, critics say this will scare off investors, slow the market, and push even more people out of the city. And here’s the bigger concern — Gov. Kathy Hochul wants to expand this exact cash-purchase tax statewide across all of New York. Taxing your way to prosperity has never worked. Another reason to leave NY? (Video: AI)

NEW: Biological male Marissa Rothenberger pitches a shutout to advance to the Class 4A softball state tournament in Minnesota. Rothenberger “changed” genders at age nine and now towers over the female competition. The trans player demolished the defending champs in back-to-back games thanks to his masculine features. Last week, three female high school softball players filed a lawsuit against the state of Minnesota for forcing them to play against biological males. No surprise this is going on in Tim Walz’s state.

🇨🇳 CHINA BUILT A SOLAR EMPIRE ON THE ROOF OF THE WORLD On the Tibetan Plateau, solar panels stretch farther than the eye can see - covering an area 7x the size of Manhattan. The Talatan Solar Park, plus wind and hydro, now powers everything from trains to AI data centers, while sheep still get to graze under the panels. Qinghai's clean energy is so cheap and efficient, it costs 40% less than coal, and helps China manufacture even more solar tech to sell worldwide. This is how China plans to win the future of energy: high-altitude, high-volume, and high stakes. Source: New York Times

Governor Kathy Hochul just posted a video claiming President Trump doesn’t care about Americans’ financial situations, then said: “Well, I do. That’s why I fight every day to make our state more affordable for New Yorkers.” She made New Yorkers’ financial struggles sound like they’re top of mind for her every single day. Yet she’s quietly forcing New York taxpayers statewide to bail out failing NYC and Mayor Mamdani with $8 BILLION over the next two years. Upstate, Long Island, and suburban families are getting crushed by sky-high taxes and costs — while she shifts funds for one city’s fiscal challenges. Talk is cheap. Actions show the truth. Stop the massive bailouts and actually lower taxes for all New Yorkers. You think Hochul will stop giving out blank checks to NYC or is that now the status quo? (Video: AI)
