Resellers are ruining everything

There should be a limit on how many someone can buy to stop this bs

That’s the stores fault for not limiting the amount per customer.

As a coach lover (don't judge, we all have our things) I am shocked that there wasn't a limit set on those purchases. Resellers ruin everything

Only fools would spend money on these stupid luxury purses. That’s my own opinion. Keep your money for something more useful towards your life.

I have a casserole dish we call my "spite dish." I picked it up at a thrift store. I was on the fence and a budget, so I cannot say I was committed. Then, this very aggressive woman reached into my cart to ask if I was buying it. I was thrown off and weirded out and replied, "it's looking that way." She proceeded to tell me some sob story about how it matched her dead gramma's Polish blah blah blah and she was quite certain it's part of the set. By the end, it was her dead mom's. It was from Peir 1 and absolutely not heirloom quality Polish stonewear. I extricated my new favorite dish and myself and she stalked me through the store. At check out, I joked to the clerk Infelt like a wounded gazelle, the way I was being followed. She said the lady will try to stop staff coming in from the back to get items before they're shelves. If she'd been a normal human, I'd have given it to her.

If you go to goodwill looking for something, they are aggressive looking for items to resell. Pushing, blocking with their cart, over-reaching you. It is over-stimulating to go in there and have these people near you.

I refuse to buy from resellers for this very reason. If I really want something I do my best to buy it from the business selling it. If I miss out I wasn’t meant to have it.

Resellers are the worst. I remember when the latest Xbox came out and I couldn't find one anywhere that wasn't on a resale site marked up over $100!

Goes back to "supply & demand." If people will refrain from paying exorbitantly ridiculous prices that are well over retail, this practice will quickly end!

No, women that want stupid purses like this are the problem. The fact that there is an insane market for them, which most can’t afford, is embarrassing.

Resellers have ruined yard/rummage sales. I am disabled with very limited income and yard/rummage sales use to be helpful in getting things I need. Nowadays the resellers rush in, grab everything and leave nothing for lower income people like me. Very selfish people. 🤬

Meh, it’s a want not a need so who cares. The reason these resellers exist is because people attach their personal self worth to a product. If nobody cared, resellers wouldn’t spend time doing this.

I went into a coach store a few years ago and wanted to buy purses for my daughters, sisters and nieces and they wouldn’t let me buy them because of the resellers.

They are ruining everything and I refuse to buy from a reseller. Until people stop buying from people doing this they'll continue. Shame on Coach for not limiting quantities.

If you’re VIP with Louis Vuitton, they call to see if you want the new item. Used to be a limit of two. If you don’t want it, they call the next person. They don’t hold sales for the general public either. Only for their employees. I’m a reseller, but NOT of luxury goods unless they are consigned to me. Reselling is one of the many caps I wear.
