Every country has its own amount of freedom, which is higher for some and lower for others. Some inherited it. Others fight for it. But, regardless of the country, freedom is never free. It must be protected at all times. There must be an understanding of what empowers freedom. Freedom should also be backed up by guarantees. In today’s conversation with Dutch students, I emphasised that there should never be a time when a country loses its freedom. The same is true for every person. To be free, one must comprehend what gives him or her the strength to be free.

Australians have watched their statues torn down. They've watched, 'The Colonies Must Fall!' scribbled over their streets. They've watched their own Members of Parliament put fake blood on their hands and run through the streets shouting, 'Pay the Rent!' which is a racist tax. They have entire institutions set up which endorse racial segregation. Australians are not protected. Laws should be picking up this stuff - but they're not. So, when they see two communities given extra protection - and marches in the streets - and they see themselves with nothing - that is one of the key drivers of the social problems. 🚫 I won’t be pressured into silence. Across Sussex, people have real concerns about what is happening around Crowborough Barracks. They are asking reasonable questions and they deserve straight answers. I have been admonished for speaking up about those concerns. But if you try to admonish the person raising the questions on the public’s behalf, you are effectively admonishing the public for asking them in the first place. This is not about personal politics. It is about respect. Residents should be able to voice worries without being dismissed, and public bodies should respond with transparency, not defensiveness. So I will keep standing with local people, and I will keep pushing for clear answers. Do you share these concerns and what is the one question you want answered most?

Thruth: When I post a video of a young kid being brutalized 100 miles past 'bullying', the most common response is "teach your kids martial arts" or "carrying a g*n is the way". When I post a video of young girls being abducted, 20 people will chime in and say "they shouldn't scream for help, they should scream 'fire' or not scream at all". Most of the people are on my side and actually mean well. But how idiotic is the advice? You're saying that children should Jason Bourn their way out of gang beatings and children should be carrying guns, even in Europe, where guns aren't legal, even for adults. Adults caused this shit, and now adults should make protecting kids the #1 priority in life until they REVERSE [THEIR] mistakes.

Whatever anyone's views are on immigration, surely there is a more humane way to handle vulnerable people than leaving mothers, children and elderly people standing in the cold and heavy rain. Where are our African leaders? Where are the humanitarian organizations like Gift of the givers? Where is the spirit of Ubuntu we always speak about? Even if immigration laws must be enforced, people should still be treated with dignity and compassion. We can protect our borders and still protect our humanity. These are human beings.. These are women and children and most of these are innocent children born in this country.. What will they say when they grow up? No one should lose their dignity simply because they are waiting for an immigration process. Africa can do better than this. 💔🌍
