Recently, we studied plastic pollution in 3 urban rivers in the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴, South Africa 🇿🇦, and Thailand 🇹🇭; this data is crucial to guide our scale-up in rivers, as no two rivers are the same and require different Interceptor solutions:

Truly horrifying. There needs to be a unified effort at a global level to produce less plastic and stop polluting the water.

Seems like it’s more than just plastic. Imagine what’s beneath the surface of the water! More people need to see this so they can be educated about the affects of pollution, not just in our water, but everywhere on our planet.

The hard truth is that whether that #plasticpollution is in the #soil or in the #oceans, it poses the same threat to our #natural #environment; it is not #biodegradable. Once #plastic is created it becomes permanent #pollution. 🌱 We must stop creating #plastic
