Hello Hyderabad Traffic Police, you must be aware that a new club called Babylon has opened in Nanakramguda. The place has become a public nuisance for people in this locality during weekends. The club uses the entire stretch (on both sides) until the Nanakramguda circle for valet parking of their cars. This is leading to massive traffic jams. We understand that there will be crowds in a new place but using public roads for parking cars like this, I am sure is not acceptable - and on top of that there are no-parking boards on that road. I tried to capture a bit of the madness here. This goes on for almost another kilometre after the video ends. Please take some action and ensure the place arranges proper parking and doesn't misuse public roads like this in future. Shall be watching this space closely.

I am profoundly saddened by the tragic traffic incident that transpired at the Iguhu Yala Bridge on the Kisumu-Kakamega Road. I extend my deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in this catastrophic event. Why Hyderabad Drowns After A 20min Rain? I may not have a simple answer to this complex question but was in Raidurgam area yesterday and this what I saw. This is right next to the Raidurgam metro. It is like the IT hub of Hyderabad and look at the state of things here. Roads are being dug to lay drainage pipes. Locals told me it has been close to a year since they started digging. The debris is just lying on the road, existing drainage seems to be damaged and all the sewer is flowing on to the main road. To make things worse, many are parking right on the road making the congested area much more difficult to commute. There is no parking space at Raidurgam Metro. If someone wants to take the metro, they have to arrive on a separate vehicle to reach. Plus there are a million autos lined up on the road. Traffic police who hide behind trees or corner you in some random street won’t regulate traffic on the main roads. They won’t show a solution to park vehicles but will collect challans. Why are you collecting challans without any space being earmarked for parking? Do you expect people to jump off a parachute and get into a metro? We look at China, Japan with their advanced technology of laying roads in a day and will be wowed. Here governments talk about AI city, Future City and such money minting projects for the government and still get wowed. Why isn’t AI or advanced technology being used to repair roads, drainages or maintain infrastructure in the existing city??? Why this craze to call the existing city a dump and then pumping huge public money into a nonexistent Future City? Why is governance driven by real estate ambitions of a few politicians?

Driving through the pure darkness of Yellowstone in my Cybertruck really makes me appreciate how incredible Tesla’s engineering is. Tonight I tested every mode of the Tesla Off-Road Light Bar driving through the pure darkness of Yellowstone late at night in my Cybertruck. It really makes me appreciate how incredible Tesla engineering is. • Ditch Lights - The outer LEDs light up both sides of the road, making it much easier to spot wildlife, rocks, drop-offs, and the edges of the trail. • Flood Lights - The center LEDs shoot out an incredibly wide, powerful beam straight ahead, lighting up the road hundreds of yards into the distance. • Both - This is maximum visibility. The entire light bar comes alive, illuminating everything in front of you and on both sides with almost no dark spots. You can switch between each mode right from the touchscreen and even adjust the brightness to match the conditions. It’s one of those features you don’t fully appreciate until you’re driving through complete darkness. Just an FYI, these lights are designed for off-road use only. They’re incredibly bright and can blind other drivers, so they should never be used on public roads when other traffic is present.

Pune Metro has been the cause for the maximum disruption of traffic and causing traffic chaos across Pune for the past decade. Besides this is a government run by thugs and thieves along with corporate executives who have pouring concrete over the entire city as their only objective. Among other things. We are trying to knock some sense into the @punemetro3 , roads and projects department to be more environmentally conscious. It’s mostly a losing battle. Unfortunately large corporate interests such as Tata Group Larsen & Toubro KPMG India are all complicit in the denuding of the cities green cover. It’s astonishing that they as of yet don’t have the capacities in-house to simply help move ancient trees 🌳 in situ at the same location or another as the case may be - so that Pune doesn’t have to sacrifice its ancient trees. Their engineering under the mandate of the chump in chief Devendra Fadnavis and his sidekick Ajit Pawar is about laying to waste a living breathing city. Never about conservation. When they’re not defending criminals like Karads or Mundes this is what they do…. Turn Mumbai and Pune into a dust bowl desert. Some notes emergent out of yesterday’s meetings with the metro officials. 1. The metro work has been the cause of the maximum tree felling in the area through Mann Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar. It also is the cause of the maximum traffic jams across the city in the past decade. 2. ⁠There isn’t a single example of the Pune IT City Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. having replanted or transplanted a single tree 🌳 fully in all its glory along this route. Not one success story. 3. ⁠What has happened instead is that trees in their hundreds and at times without permission have been butchered by the Metro authorities under the offices of Bhanudas Mane. Sakalnagar has lost 40 trees. Ganeshkhind Road over a few hundred trees. Karve road countless old growth trees. Wherever the metro goes, it creates traffic jams and destroys the road side green cover. 4. ⁠These criminals led by the offices of the Municipal Commisioner and supported by the house of Tata’s @RNTata2000 are responsible for the destruction of the green cover of Ganeshkhind Road. Aundh Baner Balewadi Road until Hinjewadi. 5. ⁠Some sad transplantation techniques have been applied along with making rudimentary compensatory plantation attempts to come up with numbers to justify further tree felling along Ganeshkhind Road. The biomass lost hasn’t been replaced by the biomass newly planted (never was meant to be). What was meant to be was to screw Pune’s population out of its green cover and its ability to fight pollution and traffic caused by the increasing heat and dust from the metro work force which will justify anything in its means to keep destroying the city and its natural capital. 6. ⁠All the officials involved have been incriminated on several counts in the courts of law, especially at NGT and Supreme Court and High Court. A current contempt proceeding also remains open towards these matters. Yet, nothing is taken seriously by any of them. Tree felling permissions continue to be applied for, they continue to be given despite strong objections raised by all citizens groups and movements. It’s a KPMG & BJP modus operandi to destroy our environment. Today Ganeshkhind Road is a former shadow of itself. The Metro work looms over everything here. 7. ⁠Despite the road department, projects department and the Metro Transit functions having made commitments to transplant trees In situ with minimum damage at the same locations preferably. Heroic Action on Hwy 36: On May 25, 2025, at 5:10 AM, Sgt. McKim stopped a driver who was traveling on the wrong side of Highway 36. The driver reached speeds of up to 110 mph at times, and several cars had to swerve to avoid a head-on collision. Thanks to her quick response, no one was hurt. The driver was arrested without incident and now faces charges including DUI, drug possession, and multiple traffic violations. Well done, Sgt. McKim! If you see a car driving on the wrong side of the road, pull over, stop at a safe location, and call 911 immediately. We’d also like to thank our partners at the Boulder Police Department for their assistance on this call. As in every criminal case, these charges are merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty.

An Open Letter to Governor Alex Otti Alex Otti Dear Sir, I just want to say thank you. Last Thursday, I traveled home to Arochukwu after work in Enugu just to spend the May 1 public holiday the next day. For many people, that might not sound like a big deal. But for those of us from Arochukwu, it is something we haven’t been able to do for years, making a short trip to Arochukwu just for leisure?? You must be an indaboski!!! Before now, traveling home was something we avoided, even during festive periods like Christmas. The road was simply too bad that those of us who dare travel will go from Umuahia to Akwaibom then to Arochukwu. It made journeys stressful, long, and sometimes even risky. Personally, it has been about four years since I last made a trip home. But this time was different. The road from Umuahia to Arochukwu is now smooth, dualized, and truly motorable. People now leave Umuahia by 7 pm and get to Arochukwu by 8 pm. That’s something we couldn’t have imagined not too long ago. People are traveling again. There’s movement, there’s ease, and there’s joy. And for that, I am deeply grateful. This is not just about a road. It is about reconnecting people to their homes, restoring a sense of normalcy, and giving us back something we had almost lost, the freedom to travel without fear or frustration. I am speaking for myself, but I know I am not alone. Many of us from Arochukwu see this, feel this, and appreciate it. We know where we are coming from. We understand that Abia State still has a long way to go after many years without real development. But these steps you are taking, even if they seem small to some, mean a lot to us. They give us hope. We believe you can do even more. We trust that you will continue to work towards rebuilding our state and positioning Abia where it truly belongs. Watching and hearing about the stampede in Bangalore made me wonder where we are going ! This is not a national team winning the World Cup ! It’s a mere franchise called RCB which works on commercial lines and does not have a single Hyderabad player in it !? It’s not even a #Hyderabad based team ! The night round officers were totally taken by surprise at 12 in the midnight as hordes of youngsters and revellers descended on Tank bund ,NTR marg and Necklace road and behaved in an unruly manner, sample of which you can see in the videos below, quite alarmingly. Traffic got jammed in all directions . Seeing the situation and the hooliganism , extra forces were rushed and a lathi charge done to disperse the unruly crowd.From a police officer’s perspective, this unannounced celebrations on the streets by large gatherings are a big danger to public safety and may lead to exactly what we saw in Bengaluru. What if there were some deaths in Hyderabad too ? Can anyone expect celebrations for RCB in Hyderabad city ! But with the social media playing a huge role across the country and the globe , perhaps police has to be alert for everyone and everything in future ! Is it humanely possible to do so - is what I am wondering 🤔

Bolt Africa Bolt💔⁉️🇿🇦 I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a Bolt trip during which I was placed in serious danger due to the drvers negligent and unsafe conduct.... I was picked up in Johannesburg and noticed while we were travelling on the N1 towards Randburg that the driver appeared extremely tired. The vehicle repeatedly moved onto the white lane markings, and I had to alert the driver that we were driving on top of the lines..... Shortly afterwards, i observed through the rear-view mirror that the driver was repeatedly closing his eyes while driving. Concerned for my safety, l recorded a video because I intended to report the incident. .... "In the videos attached, you can clearly see that the driver's eyes were closing while he was driving. The footage shows him repeatedly struggling to keep his eyes open, which put my safety and the safety of other road users at risk." The driver's eyes were visibly closing while the vehicle was moving at speed on a busy highway At one point, the driver appeared to fall asleep while driving and the vehicle started moving into other lanes while his eyes were closed. I had to tap his shoulder to wake him up. A few minutes later, I believed he had recovered, but as we approached a traffic light l noticed that the traffic signal was red and the driver was not slowing down. Instead, the vehicle continued accelerating. When I looked again, I saw that his eyes were closed. I immediately tapped him again, but he was unable to avoid a collision and crashed into a Ford vehicle Fortunately, I was seated in the back and was not seriously injured, although! experienced pain in my knee immediately after the collision. The police attended the scene following the accident. What concerns me most is that this accident appears to have been caused by the driver's fatigue and repeated loss of attention while operating the vehicle. leven provided video evidence to the driver of the Ford because the Bolt driver was blaming the other driver despite having fallen asleep behind the wheel Passengers trust Bolt to provide safe transportation. A driver who is too tired to remain awake should not be accepting trips, as this places passengers and other road users at risk of serious injury or death. Ukraine Begins to Be Cut Off from the Black Sea Apparently, Ukraine has gone too far with its attacks on Russian "shadow fleet" ships. The independent country, as we predicted, is starting to be cut off from the Black Sea. Mackinac County, Michigan. A Michigan State Police (MSP) Motor Carrier Officer (MCO) was in the right place at the right time to safely stop a dangerous wrong-way driver on I-75 in Mackinac County. The driver was subsequently arrested for multiple offenses, including Operating Under the Influence of Drugs. On February 11, 2026, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a BOL (be on the lookout) was issued to local law enforcement by Chippewa County Central Dispatch for a vehicle traveling southbound on I-75 in the northbound lanes. A St. Ignace Post MCO was in the area and began looking for the wrong-way driver. As the MCO approached the Charles-Moran Road overpass, he observed headlights cresting the hill, traveling south in the northbound lanes. The MCO was able to identify that the vehicle was just ahead of him. He did not observe any other traffic, and he was able to position himself on I-75 and activate his emergency lights and his siren as the vehicle came closer. As the vehicle approached the MCO, it slowed but did not come to a complete stop until the MCO yelled at the driver to pull over. The driver gave a shrug and appeared confused but did stop. A subsequent investigation resulted in the woman being arrested for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs (OUID) and Possession of Analogues, as she was in possession of controlled substances (pills) that were not prescribed to her. The woman was lodged in the Mackinac County Jail. On February 12, 2026, 66-year-old Therese Parolini, from South Range, Michigan, was arraigned in the 92nd District Court on charges of OUID and Possession of Analogues. She was given a personal recognizance bond. She is next due in court on February 23, 2026. The defendant is considered innocent unless proven guilty. MSP was assisted by St. Ignace Police Department. “This could have been a tragic incident that was thankfully stopped,” said Lt. Ben Eckola, MSP Eighth District Public Information Officer. “We thank our MCO who made this stop, and all local law enforcement members, who often put their own safety at risk in order to keep the public safe.”
