Texas public education has gone off the rails after years under the leadership of TEA Commissioner Mike Morath. The sight of students being allowed to leave campuses en masse, escorted by ISD police, highlights a systemic failure within the public school system. Texas’ largest school districts have effectively been taken over by the political left and have operated outside the bounds of state law without facing consequences.
