Midea has just introduced a six-armed super-humanoid robot designed for complex task handling and multi-step operations,essentially functioning as a self-contained workstation. The new humanoid is an upgraded version of the earlier Miro wheeled humanoid robot. In August, Miro was deployed at Midea’s Jingzhou factory in Hubei, working alongside AMRs, single-arm four-wheel robots, KUKA robots, and human workers. The six-arm Miro will soon join this lineup as well, further boosting the factory’s intelligent automation and operational efficiency.

🚨BREAKING Unitree's IPO application on the Science and Technology Innovation Board has been formally accepted by the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with a planned fundraising of 4.202 billion yuan. Of this, the intelligent robot model R&D project accounts for the majority, amounting to 2 billion yuan. In other words: For Unitree, hardware is no longer the problem,the real bottleneck that urgently needs to be overcome is the development of intelligent robot models. Notably, Unitree reports that it has sold over 5,500 humanoid robots,ranking first globally,making them the growth engine of its robotics business.

Training robots for the home is hard — the environment is messy, dynamic, and full of edge cases. So Sunday is training robots directly on real households. Founders Tony Zhao and Cheng Chi built a glove-based system that lets hundreds of contributors record everyday tasks in their own homes, creating high-fidelity demonstrations that feed directly into robot learning. Bit of facts about the cool robot: → The machine can remove weeds from over 40 crops and can also be used for thinning crops. → It can operate in virtually all weather conditions, with millimeter accuracy at all times, and can work through the night thanks to its built-in lighting system. → High-resolution cameras and computer machine learning enable it to distinguish weeds from crops in milliseconds. → The LaserWeeder can replace about 70 workers on farms where manual weeding is used, and can weed up to four acres per hour.
