You have to be very careful when listening to tour players talk about their own feels & what they do during the golf swing Don't get me wrong, some are VERY good at explaining in detail what they are doing & feeling, but some don't actually have a clue. They are just VERY GOOD at golf & don't really know how they do it. This is a prime example where Tiger is saying he's not a "Spot Chipper", then on another video he says he likes hitting to a "Spot" So which one is it? Remember, these guys are ELITE at playing the game of golf & getting the ball in the hole in less shots than everyone else They are not always the best at accuratly articulating what they are really trying to do There was a video of Tiger a while back where he was saying the club head moves first in the golf swing... No it doesn't. There's a pressure shift into the trail side first... Tiger won with 4 different swings. He's just THAT GOOD We as coaches are the ones who explain things better than a tour pro. The tour pros job is to shoot low scores

What are your thoughts on having a tour event at a golf course where Driver could be left in the locker room? I don’t think Rory is going to be hitting any drivers this week… Are you a fan of this kind of course or would you rather see players hitting driver?

Rory McIlroy’s driver swing evolution over the last 17 years. 😍 “Rory McIlroy has the best natural driver swing that has ever existed.” Do you agree with that statement? I’m starting to think so. Why? No injuries despite getting faster and faster. Cruising at 185 ball speed and seemingly doesn’t have to push himself to injury. Dude is 5’8” and hits it past all the big athletes who look like they are swinging way harder. Nicklaus and Norman were incredible drivers. But both battled injuries and always looked like they were swinging as hard as they could. They were big dudes. Rory never looks like he’s swinging hard. He just looks like he’s swinging fast. Big distinction. Rory. The most natural driver of all time.
