Rory Sutherland proposed a simple fix that could cut unnecessary GP visits by up to 50%. Instead of the chaotic 8am scramble for appointments (a nightmare across the UK and much of Europe), let pharmacists book next-day GP slots. People would see the pharmacist first, who could often hand... out ointment, advice, or a delayed antibiotic prescription (“only fill it if you’re still ill next week”). What if we could RECREATE the REFLECTION of the FLASH seen in the GLASS during the Charlie Kirk assassination? Literally recreate it on site. The timing of the flash seen in the reflection of the glass is what makes it so interesting. What else would cause a flash that bright in the middle of the day? This could at least determine a lot of good information and confirm or deny theories that are out there. Just to get an idea of where the FLASH came from, which could identify a possible shooter or 2nd shooter location. The reason I say this is because it lines up perfectly with the sound of the gun, meaning you see the flash first, then you hear the shot, which would make sense because light travels faster than sound. This way we could get an idea of where it came from in the first place and determine if it's a good lead or not and then check the crowd or building locations. It could be recreated with a camera flash or something with bright enough lumens. This could clear up at least one theory or confirm it and lead us in the right direction of where the shooter could have been. Please comment with your thoughts and ideas. We need to get someone out there to the location with the Proper equipment. At least we could confirm or deny some theories. Video in bottom left shows the flash.

Did you know in some states when a neighbor cuts down a tree, if it falls into your yard and damages your property, it’s deemed an “act of god” and you are responsible for the damages to your property. For me this could be a huge headache for many people, it shows no accountability. If the neighbor’s tree damages someone else property, you would think that it’s their responsibility since it’s their tree and it’s their actions that caused the damage. Why on earth would any state have this law is beyond me, I wouldn’t want to live in an area like that, where one day you are on top and the next day you could be thousands in debt. What would you do if this was the case for you?

Beware, with allot of these newer cars that have the LED headlamps. Not only are they allot of work to remove, but the dealer doesn’t tell you that it’s not serviceable. Before, if a bulb went out, you could go and get one for less than $100 especially if you have the HID lights or halogen. With LED, you have to replace the whole headlamp if the light ever goes out. Would you pay the $1000-$5000 for a new headlamp or would you just say screw it, time to trade it in.

I will never ever ask what’s wrong of offer help if I wasn’t actually going to help. I see accidents on the highway almost daily, especially in the winter, if I am going to stop I always call the police first so I know help is on the way for them and for me if things go south. A woman was in an accident and she’s going car to car begging for help. She thought these people were going to help her and jumped in there. At only for them to boot her out. What would you do though, would you let her in the car? To me it could be a setup or they could have serious injuries would t want anything to happen. I wouldn’t let them in the car. People will criticize because they aren’t in this position or it hasn’t happened to them. I say unless I am equipped to help, I won’t. But I will always call for help. I feel that’s the best thing we can do in most of these cases and if anyone else has anything to say about it they don’t know what they are talking about.

Packed AMC parking lot. Empty charger. At $0.51/kWh plus a $50 authorization hold, it’s easy to see why. And honestly, a movie theater may be one of the worst places for a 50kW DC fast charger. Most people are parked for 2–3 hours watching a movie. A row of 48A Level 2 chargers could serve more EVs, cost less to install, and let drivers leave with a full battery by the end of the film. Would you use this charger, or would you rather see more Level 2 charging at movie theaters?

If I have a plug or a hack to get a better deal or more food, would I share it online? Probably not, the chances that it would ruin it me or the company is pretty high. Especially if other locations catch on. I feel that if I shared this, what would happen is more and more people would try to take advantage of it and the store would issue a policy to stop it. What I’m conflicted about is, by ordering a taco in a bowl, I would be getting a $15 bowl for $4. Is it my fault the company has a loophole like that, or should I even feel guilty about exploiting it if it’s only for my benefit? Or is it a scenario where everything is fair game because the restaurant allows us to do that. Whose fault is it that we figured out how to get their pricier item for less? Someone else called it theft, but is this really theft if it’s allowed? They allow us to put our taco shell in a bowl. They allow us to ask for as many extras that we want. So would I really be the bad guy for taking advantage of this? I figured if this was a real issue the store would have stopped it, and to this day as far as I know, anyone can still do this. When I get a chance this week I’ll go and try to do this again to see if it still works, I’ll keep you posted.

We have NHS doctors who want to serve patients, who trained for years, who are being pushed into unemployment on top of Government caps on how many doctors can train to become Consultants or GPs. At the same time, Wes Streeting is recommending a real terms pay cut next year, on top of the 20% pay erosion we’ve already taken. It’s getting harder to keep doctors in the NHS; and patients feel that every day through longer waits. We’re striking because the current system fails patients and leaves skilled NHS doctors on the sidelines. Wes Streeting could end the strikes right now by putting forward a credible offer.
