Carlos doesn’t think ending up in the point zone is a relief, since those 70 laps asked to manage where frustrating “So is not a relief to ending up in points?” No, ok well after yesterday, starting from p16 and they tell you “hey you are gonna climb up to p10” you take it, because as tight as the midfield is climbing up is really hard and I was one of the few who started from he back and ended up climbing up, but after those 70 laps that I made the whole race without pushing, is a lot of frustrating laps. I believe we could have ended in front, at least in front of Ocon if they had let me push, but not even that. That sums up the season, 10 races where we have not done a complete good weekend, besides Jeddah. We could have done better today.

Saw some people saying Cole Custer didn't try to pass Joey Logano in the final laps at the Roval so I went back and watched his onboard. Flagged this over the radio with about three to go: "Andy, you got your watch on?" "Nice and easy here, bud. Nice and easy." "We can save our tires here for a late race restart." Custer had been shadowing Logano through traffic before both were finally clear coming to four laps to go. Custer took one look to Logano's inside in Turn 7 with four to go but never seriously challenged Logano for position again.
