Yesterday, Russia launched multiple precision-guided bombs at the school in the village of Katerynivka in the Dnepropetrovsk region, effectively turning it into a pile of rubble. It’s incredible just how much more effective these glide bombs are compared to traditional artillery. If it previously took Russia months to obliterate a village with sustained artillery strikes, now it can be done in just a few days with precision-guided bombs. Not to mention that it’s also much safer than having Russian troops risk their lives bringing artillery pieces within range of Ukrainian FPV drones. The Russian military has significantly increased the number of guided glide bombs dropped on Ukrainian positions. Russian jets are now dropping an average of up to 250 glide bombs every single day! I’ve said it multiple times: the longer Zelensky delays Ukraine’s unconditional surrender, the more certain the total destruction of every frontline region becomes.

Footage emerging showing the remains of a an unidentified air-to-ground munition employed by the Ukrainian Air Force for strikes in Russia-controlled city of Donetsk on Wednesday afternoon. Among debris seen in the clips are fragments of folded winglets that are usually employed in glide bombs/jet-powered stand-off weapons. This design doesn't resemble the one used in Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG, while Donetsk is estimated to be out of range for the safe launch of US-made GBU-62 JDAM-ER and GBU-39/B precision-guided glide bombs (+80km). One of the potential candidates is a munition from the American Extended-Range Attack Missile (ERAM) programme. In August 2025, U.S. State Department approved a potential Foreign Military Sale of up to 3,350 ERAM missiles to Ukraine. No actual photos of an intact ERAM munition has emerged as of yet. Another possibility is a US-made AGM-158 JASSM air-launched cruise missile. 🇺🇦🚀 Ukraine has added Alexa Spatium to its arsenal, the country’s first domestically developed jet-powered interceptor drone designed specifically to counter Russia’s increasingly fast jet-powered attack UAVs. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense says Alexa Spatium’s primary targets are Russian Geran-3, Geran-4 and Geran-5 attack drones, as well as Shahed-131s. The high-speed platform can also engage reconnaissance UAVs, helicopters and other aerial targets. Beyond its interceptor role, the system was designed with the capability to engage selected ground and surface targets, giving it considerably greater mission flexibility than a dedicated anti-drone interceptor. Alexa Spatium represents another step in Ukraine’s rapidly evolving layered air-defense architecture. As Russia introduces faster jet-powered attack drones, Ukraine is responding with faster and more specialized interceptors rather than relying exclusively on scarce and expensive conventional surface-to-air missiles. These actions are most effective when the consequences of Russia's war are brought back home to Russia, and when there is no safe place for the enemy on the occupied territory of our state. Commander Syrskyi reported to me the details of these strikes. I thank each and every warrior involved. We continue to speak openly with our partners—Ukraine needs to deliver truly long-range strikes against the Russian occupier. These were ordinary people travelling through the city when Russia deliberately targeted civilian transport. Russia is finding it "significantly" harder to conduct combat operations against Ukraine because of a rise in Ukrainian long-range drone strikes on Russian weapons supplies, ammunition depots and fuel refineries, Sky News reported. Brigadier General Yurii Shchyhol signalled these attacks would grow, revealing that Ukraine plans to more than quadruple the production rate of deep strike drones – with a range of hundreds of miles – to more than 2,000 aircraft a month. Ukraine has been intensifying the tempo of its long-range drone strikes against targets inside Russia and Russian-occupied territory since late December – demonstrating what defense sources say is a world-leading capability that the Kremlin is struggling to counter. We continue to respond to Russian strikes in a fully justified and accurate manner. Today, Ukraine’s long-range sanctions reached designated targets that support and finance Russia’s aggression. SSU units struck three oil depots in the Stavropol region at once, while units of our Armed Forces hit another fuel facility in the same region. Direct hits were recorded on three Russian shadow fleet tankers in the Black Sea. I thank every one of our units that is helping spread the realization in Russia that this war must end. Clearing Ukrainian skies of Russian guided bombs is a powerful step toward forcing Russia to seek an end to the war and a just peace. Our representatives have provided all the necessary information and details to our partners. I am calling on the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany – we need the means to fully and effectively protect Ukraine and its people. Ukraine continues applying long‑range sanctions in response to Russian strikes. Last night, the warriors of our Defense Forces hit targets across different regions of Russia that are fueling this war. Once again, a plant in Kirov was struck – the one supplying components for the weapons Russia uses to attack our people. That’s about 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine’s border. Ukraine continues applying long‑range sanctions in response to Russian strikes. Last night, the warriors of our Defense Forces hit targets across different regions of Russia that are fueling this war. Once again, a plant in Kirov was struck – the one supplying components for the weapons Russia uses to attack our people. That’s about 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine’s border. Also hit were an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a fuel and lubricants depot in Rostov‑on‑Don.
