Ryan Grim asked Congressman Cory Mills (R-FL) whether his support for Trump’s Iran war has anything to do with his ownership of an arms trafficking company. Mills, who currently serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee (specifically as Chairman of the Oversight and Intelligence Subcommittee), co-founded PACEM Solutions International...

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FLORIDA — Veterans for America First (VFAF) is proud to endorse Congressman Cory Mills for reelection to represent Florida’s 7th Congressional District in the 2026 election. Website: There are political endorsements, and then there are endorsements that are personal. For me, endorsing Congressman Cory Mills is personal. I have spent much of my life serving alongside veterans and, today, working to make sure the men and women who wore our nation’s uniform have someone willing to stand beside them when they need help. Over the years, I have met plenty of elected officials who talk about supporting our veterans. Cory Mills is one of those leaders who backs those words with action. Cory is a United States Army combat veteran and Bronze Star recipient who understands firsthand what service and sacrifice mean. What has impressed me most, however, is what Cory continues to do for veterans after taking off the uniform. When veterans need someone in their corner, Cory is there. He understands that supporting our veterans and our military cannot simply be a campaign slogan or something recognized once a year on Veterans Day. It requires action, commitment, and a willingness to fight for the men and women who fought for this country. I have personally witnessed Cory’s commitment to veterans, and that means more to me than any political talking point ever could. Cory is tough, outspoken, and unapologetic about standing up for America’s military, our veterans, and the men and women who continue to defend this nation. He understands the warrior mentality because he has lived it. More importantly, I consider Cory an outstanding man. He cares deeply about this country, respects those who have served it, and is willing to stand his ground and fight for what he believes is right. That is why I am proud, both personally and on behalf of Veterans for America First, to give Congressman Cory Mills my full endorsement for Florida’s 7th Congressional District in 2026. Our veterans deserve leaders who do more than thank them for their service. They deserve leaders who stand with them when it matters. Cory Mills is one of those leaders. Cory Mills is a corrupt American lawmaker whom #Qatar and #Turkey allegedly used to arrange a meeting between the Syrian Al-Qaeda leader, Ahmad Al-Sharaa, and #US President #Trump. In this post, I explain what I know based on open-source intelligence and avoid discussing any classified details related to his ongoing investigation. In March, one of the top Muslim Brotherhood lobbyists in Canada was reportedly tasked by #Qatar to use Mills—as a "useful idiot"—to help facilitate a meeting between #Syrian Al-Qaeda leader Ahmad Al-Sharaa and #Trump. Mills, along with another politician, was sent to #Damascus to meet with Al-Sharaa. After their meeting, they reportedly fed the international media disinformation, falsely claiming that Al-Sharaa had sent a letter to #Trump expressing his willingness to join the Abraham Accords. This fabricated narrative was even published by the Jerusalem Post, deceiving its audience in #Israel. Soon after, it was revealed that Al-Sharaa had actually placed a condition for peace with #Israel: the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Syria. This would have allowed #Turkey to deploy troops there and enabled Syrian General Security Forces to carry out atrocities, including the reported targeting of the Druze community. To understand how compromised Cory Mills is, consider this: despite being a married man, he reportedly had an affair with an #Iranian woman named Sarah Raviani. In February 2025, he allegedly assaulted her. Although she initially called the police and had him arrested, she later changed her story—possibly due to request from the Qatari government or in exchange for money—to prevent his prosecution. Following this, she traveled with him to Turkey and Syria, where they met with both Turkish government officials (including intelligence) and #Syrian Al-Qaeda operatives. Mills is currently under investigation by the #FBI and the House Ethics Committee for a range of financial crimes. Many within the intelligence community believe he is not only on the payroll of #Qatar but also #Turkey. It's also suspected that his mistress, Sarah Raviani, played a key role in turning him into an asset for these foreign regimes. Despite claiming to be a veteran and a former sniper, many of Mills’ war stories have been exposed as fabrications. He is widely viewed as a conman who leveraged false narratives to gain credibility.
