He wasn't in a position to adopt - his lease had a strict no-pets clause and he hadn't worked up the nerve to ask his landlord about it yet. He told himself he was just looking. On his third visit, a staff member suggested he spend some time in kennel nine with a two-year-old grey mixed breed named Otis who had been there six weeks and was struggling with the transition. Ryan said sure. He sat on the floor of the kennel for about twenty minutes while Otis slowly worked up to him — sniffing from a distance, then closer, then curling up against Ryan's leg. Ryan scratched behind his ears and they sat together in the kennel while the shelter noise went on around them. Then visiting hours started winding down and Ryan stood up to leave. He turned toward the door. And Otis wrapped both front paws around his ankle and held on. Not jumping. Not barking. Just gripping, face pressed against Ryan's shin, shaking in a steady, quiet way that Ryan said was harder to look at than anything loud or dramatic would have been. "There was nothing frantic about it," Ryan said. "It was just — please. That's all it was." Ryan stood in that kennel doorway for a long time. He didn't pull away. When he finally left, he went directly to his car and called his landlord. His landlord said yes. Ryan was back at the shelter the following morning when it opened. Otis came home that afternoon. Tinfoil warning DYOR. When asked about the #GME warrants expiring in October, Ryan says "I don't have a crystal ball. I can't answer that question." When pressed again, Ryan says "people that have invested alongside me when it comes to Chewy or GameStop and me committing $500 million into eBay, they've done, they've done very very well." IMO, Ryan is clearly not worried about the warrants expiring worthless and he is basically saying "the people who trusted and invested alongside me have done very, very well". Although he wasn't talking about #BBBYQ, I believe this response applies to the investors who followed Ryan into BBBY. Anyone following jake2b DD video series knows that Ryan Cohen is still involved and that the shareholders of the cancelled shares will be made whole. There were 2 questions that Ryan couldn't answer in the interview. He was asked about becoming a holding company and when asked about the GME warrants. It's interesting that although he couldn't answer the questions, both times he took a drink from a green can. I believe he was signaling green, as in bullish, without directly answering those questions. I believe Teddy is coming, BBBYQ shareholders will get equity, GME warrants will print big. I believe it's happening soon!

🚨WEIRD SCORING RULE ALERT🚨 This is from today’s SFGiants at Colorado Rockies game. This was ruled a pop out and an RBI, but not a sacrifice fly. The rule in MLB is a sacrifice fly must be caught by an outfielder, or an infielder running into the outfield. I believe this will get appealed and changed as Devers is running into the outfield, and the fact that he stopped running to catch it doesn’t negate that. The scorer might be ruling this not a sacrifice fly because it was caught by an infielder, missing the “infielder running into the outfield” caveat. In college, this is a sacrifice fly because college doesn’t have the infielder rule.
