I find this clip to be more vulgar, manipulative and ignorant than any of the accused "false prophets." However it's perfect for clicks.

This is 100% spot on. It is why I no longer go to church, but instead am the church. The first time I read the Bible through on my own without any study aides or other books my eyes flew open. The hunger for more. Many times since that I stand amazed at the Word. Thank you

Yes, find a church where the whole counsel of God is preached. They are out there.

Ahhh, the fallacy of Solo scriptura -lol Reformation happened 'cause some fat guy wanted a divorce. You need context, not some pastor riding around some stage on a Harley shooting fireworks out of his butt. Go to the First Church, founded by Jesus Christ. Become a Catholic

sad and not true at all... do you know what the "Vulgate" is? That's right, St. Jerome's translation into Latin (the Vulgar tongue), from Greek. Your post might as well have just said "I'm retarded and also have a twitter account."

Lloyd Legalist's profile picture

Fascinating since… 1. I have a Masters of Divinity 2. Know what the Vulgate is and… 3. Had no idea I was on Twitter. But do love how some folks go off on X in their attempt to make some kind of point known only to them.

if you're a protestant with an MDiv, you're double retarded. Glad I could help.

You got the Tyndale story wrong. You got historical Christianity wrong You got the Catholic Church inaccurately portrayed The idea of a corrupt Catholic /secular government strangle hold Is right on Blended in this manner is a call to know the truth👏 But the truth is found in Tradition The Truth is found in early Church Apostles and their disciples (Apostlic succession)

Anyone can read the Bible. You have to believe it & preach it without fear or favor. We have too many weak & worldly preachers who are more interested in building churches for their own income, than building Christians that please God.

It strikes me as odd that you choose to spend your time assailing preachers who point to Christ (despite any other misgivings), but refuse to address the @jamestalarico's and @ReverendWarnock's who mislead the masses... and constantly point away to an anti-Christ idolatry.

What do all these “false teachers” have in common? Sola Scriptura. All of them will tell you that they are guided by the Holy Spirt so, which one? The Holy Spirt cannot be that confused.

If a church as a sermon series on "Being a better Christian" or "Find Jesus" I usually avoid. While not bad topics to discuss, the pulpit is for Christ and His word. Look for churches that preaches directly from scripture and has sermon series like "The Book of John".

@aheartforgod I would argue that you don’t need to go to a place. How many churches closed their doors for the flu/cold? How many Christians couldn’t see the truth about covid? As a Christian I was very surprised that other Christians could not see the truth.

It starts off with a lie - about holding a Bible Then immediately jumped into Tyndale who was executed for creating a blasphemous Bible, not translating it - BY PROTESTANTS.

Jesus did not found a text (as holy as Scripture is). He founded a Church. Not abstractly. Concretely. Particularly. He instituted it within His Apostles. One Church. One authority. His authority. To bind and loose. To forgive sins. To drive out demons. To baptize all nations. Not 63,000 conflicting and competing sects. One Church. No Church, no Bible. 73 books. Not 66 after Luther stripped out the ones he didn’t like. The very text you use to argue against the Catholic Church Is itself a product of the Catholic Church. There is no child Not born of a mother. This is why we call her Mother Church.

“knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation” - 2 Peter 1:20 Yes, be anchored to the Word, but so often people interpret the word through a set of preconceived notions — they are married to a model or framework and can only read passages in light of that…

@NoblePhares I agree with this message, but there is one face that was included in this video that shouldn’t be there and that is Pastor Bill Johnson. He is a true man of God and my discernment is on point.

100% true and righteous as is the way, the truth and the life. A life based wholly in holy kenosis embodying the beatitudes through scriptural gnosis. Be-coming more Christ like through inner prayer. Releasing the old man / woman and surrendering to thy will not my will. Lo; entering into a personal and intimate relationship with the almighty free from inculcation and performance. Much appreciated share @LloydLegalist 🙏

Uh... you're spouting Protestant lies. The Vulgate. A Bible translation in the vulgar (common) tongue for Latin speakers. Catholics actually created Cyrillic so the people could read the Word. Study up a bit a d free yourself from this ignorance.

You know I have a very old article called two views of government, and it has to do with puritanism versus pietism. And what I argue in the article. It's what every church historian recognizes. There are always two streams of Reformation. I have that in my Puritan Storm Rising.

You can go to a popular church big or small. You can experience the lights, fog machine, and moving music. You can hear the preacher give a vibrant message moved on by cheers and "amen's" from the crowd. You can hear how God can heal all your frailties and... 1/2

@Joh17_3 Many, if not most "Local Assemblies" have become nothing more than silly Social Clubs rather than the Biblically-based gatherings outlined in Scripture.

2/2 ...and solve all your financial difficulties. You can be motivated to repair all your relationship issues, give more to the church, and even step into a role in the youth ministry. You can do all that, and still not hear a clear explanation of the Gospel.
