Safari 27 supports JSPI, a magic WebAssembly capability for sync native code to suspend on an async 𝙿𝚛𝚘𝚖𝚒𝚜𝚎. On libfx uses the built-in browser 𝚏𝚎𝚝𝚌𝚑 stack to make API calls. As more code goes native, I expect WebAssembly to play a huge role in the future of the web.

Bone Tide is officially out on the App Store and Google Play 🎉 The React Native Expo version runs on the exact same TypeGPU engine as the Web game, shared 1:1 between both platforms. Only the UI was ported to React This was made possible by some amazing work across the React Native open source ecosystem. Huge thanks to William Candillon for react-native-webgpu and for always helping me resolve any issues incredibly quickly :D I think it’s a pretty cool showcase of what can be built with React Native nowadays. The backdrop not covering the status bar when opening a sheet on the web makes it feel... subpar compared to native. So in Silk I baked-in the ability to blend them together by automatically dimming the theme-color in sync with the backdrop opacity. Works with any color (for both the backdrop and the original theme-color), and with stacked backdrops. Only in Safari for now, as perf deteriorates in other browsers.

Thanks to an amazing contributor, Ghostty now supports a beautiful titlebar with tabs in the titlebar. These are still fully native tabs, we surgically modify macOS's view hierarchy to make them look like this, so they retain all the macOS native behaviors you'd expect.

Claude Code is running on a remote server, along with the web app it just built. You’re on your phone. You can still open localhost:3000 in Safari or Chrome. Just create a local port forwarding rule in Termius and securely tunnel the remote port to your device. No public ports. No extra setup.
