Something interesting is about to happen politically. As technological innovation compounds as we approach AGI/ASI, we'll experience a significant boost to the economy. This will likely be attributed to the party in power at the time, regardless of their actual contribution.

We shall expect an avalanche of new founders in the coming years. ASI makes it possible for anyone to launch a startup with almost no resources. In this future where everyone builds, the question becomes what do you build and why?!

Some persons are referring to this era as the roaring twenties. We are in for a ride.

What companies will be valuable when super intelligence is here? Chips and energy is infrastructure, but wonder what else will be valuable. (I should ask AI)

Think big, like corporations and governments: lay off millions of humans, supercharged surveillance and monitoring of your digital life, incredibly optimized social engineering and propaganda, AI controlled weapon systems (surely can't backfire), final throes of human made arts and music, endless deep-fakes and fake news amplified by bot armies, and a painful lack of government oversight and regulation.. and thats probably just first few years.
