Everything is a basic human right according to you. Government has not asked to ban same sex relationships, it is just, that same sex marriage can not be seen in the fram of usual heterosexual marriage. They can live in, or maybe some special sort of marriage.

That Indian uncle

Same sex relationship can be okay. It must not be called a marriage. Same sex couples should not be going to temples and mosques to marry. They have no right to change definitions or institutions.

Marriage does not have a legal definition as such in any country, it was derived from religious definitions and most religions define it as a union between a biological female with a biological male. It's not true that it doesn't impact the life of others, at least till now.

Absolutely true but for a country where 20% still resist uniform civil code it's bit rich to think people would approve of same sex marriages. But we can do one thing, let same sex marriages be part of UCC and implement it and settle this debate once for all.

Glad you have the guts to stand by it. Not many public figures are this brave.

What’s with this ‘uncles ‘ bit ? Your point is valid but why drag uncles into it when you’re an uncle yourself !

Marriage is between male and female. If you want something like that for same sex people, go with any other name. Like Gayrrige and lesbige.

They need to find a new religion to perform that marriage as all rituals in marriage are based on two opposite genders. Marriage will automatically be invalid in other cases
