Saquon Barkley Initial thought is right hamstring but hard to tell exactly how he planted with the right foot on the sideline. Hopefully not his knee. It was his right ACL in 2020.

Saquon Barkley suffered an apparent right hamstring injury against the Rams and is currently questionable to return.

Jayden Daniels Right hamstring vs. knee injury His hamstring was stretched in an abnormal position. If his knee is involved, it’s most likely an injury to his (posterior) meniscus. ACL unlikely but possible. You would think it would have been to his left knee the way it bent but no. That was the knee he previously injured. You can see him grab the back of his right leg/knee at the end of the play.

Brock Bowers - huge update If you watched the play, you can see the defender hit his right knee, and the inside of his right knee buckled a little bit. What was lost in translation was that his left knee landed hard on the turf in a flexed position. Up until today, we knew that he was dealing with a knee injury, but no specifics. Now we have video of him practicing with a brace on his left knee. So essentially his right knee got lucky, but his left knee was actually the problem. He’s likely dealing with a grade one, mild, PCL sprain of the left knee. As a result, he is low risk for significant injury, and will play on Monday night and should not have any restrictions or dips in performance. For comparison, last year, Puka Nacua had a grade 2 moderate PCL spray. If Bowers were to land on this knee again in a flex position, there’s a possibility that happens. I’m excited to see Bowers’s play in a potential shootout against the Chargers on Monday night.

Caleb Williams Appears to be a right hamstring strain. This is likely to be a significant injury given the fact that it was non-contact (after his right leg was tripped up) and he was writhing in pain and then could not put any weight on that right leg. This is probably a grade 2 hamstring strain, which is a partial tear, but there’s a possibility this is a grade 3, which is what happened to Dak Prescott, that required season-ending surgery. Those aren’t common but possible. Video coming soon on TheInjuryExpertz

We have video! (s/o bennett) Luther Burden - Most will point out the Left Achilles/step back but I do think he got his knee back fast enough where we don’t need to be concerned there (I’m hopeful). It honestly looks like he took a shot to the family jewels but not sure that would cause him to limp the way he did into the locker room. Hard to tell exactly how hard Burden planted on his left leg, so difficult to say if it’s intra-articular (meniscus, etc) or not. Tyrique landed more on Burden’s right leg than his left though, so I’m not really concerned about an MCL/ACL or high ankle on the left side as of now. Possibly a groin injury or a simple shot to the 🥜? Seems not too bad by video.

Kingsburg led 1-0 with 2 outs to go, when Washington Union Baseball's Cole Roth singled and Davin Finderup slid home. He was called out. Hard to tell with pole blocking view of the catcher, but did he tag Finderup's bent left knee before his right foot touched home? I added another angle.

Before Carl Nassib became the NFL’s first active, openly gay player he came out to his Uncle Bill while he was on his death bed. It was a weight off his uncle’s chest who was the only gay person in his entire family. Uncle Bill’s relief pushed Carl to tell the world. He was ready in 2019, but with all that went on in 2020 he didn’t feel it was the right time. Finally, in 2021 the time was right. He didn’t want it to be all about him. He tied his announcement to the Trevor Project to help others who won’t receive as much fanfare when they come out. Pivot Podcast sits with CarlNassib #ThePivot #CarlNassib #NFL #TrevorProject

Not the most athletic, but when Klay threw down a poster in his first game back since tearing his left ACL and right Achilles, that was crazy.
