"School does not really matter." "We've been dumbed down to think that we need school to be successful. We've been conditioned to think this way through school." "That's the whole point of it. School is nothing but conditioning to think a certain way, to act a certain way, to... show more

I am so tired of the way the government talk about school attendance. They have no idea what it is like to be that child terrified of school, standing at the school gates unable to breathe because they’re so anxious. Who forces themselves into school day after day until they can’t anymore. Who is traumatised by the environment - the noise, the expectations, peers, anxiety. We HAVE to reframe the idea that school is the only way to get an education. Of course education is important. But the fear, anxiety and trauma school can cause for some of us is HUGE. Please try to understand. Full attendance is not necessarily the best way to meet every child’s needs. #School #SchoolAttendance #EBSA #Anxiety #MentalHealth

"The biggest mistake I ever made as a parent was letting my kids go to public school. The second was letting them go to school, period." "The purpose of school is to manufacture employees for businesses." "The reason they use bells in school is because that is what they used on the assembly line." He is 100% SPOT ON! We have been conditioned for generations to push school and college on kids and that if they don't they won't amount to anything. We MUST END THAT CONDITIONING! There is another way.

Matthew McConaughey reveals the three words his dad said that changed his life “I said dad, I don't want to go to law school anymore. I want to go to film school and after about a 5 second pause, he goes, ‘Are you sure that's what you want to do?’ I reply yes sir” “Another long pause. Then I hear, ‘Well, don't halfass it’” “I remember just beaming, hopping up just like Yes! My dad not only said okay. The way he said don't halfass it, it was also, okay. Let's go big boy. Own that shit. Get some leverage. Get some horsepower behind where you're going. Go do it” “I remember to this day and I've learned this later I think from becoming a father, part of what I believe happened to him and why he said that to me that way on that call was the way that I asked him. I wasn't really asking. It was, ‘I don't want to go to law school, Dad. I want to go to film school.’ I didn't stutter. He heard his son saying this is what I want to do” “What I think happened to him in that moment is what I think any father, any parent loves. You raise your kids in a certain way and you give them a guideline, a ladder to climb and here's the guidelines and if you do it this way, you're most likely going to have some success in life and it'll work out for you and then when we do it that way, we can be proud parents” “But what do we really want to happen when our kids are out of the house and they're on their own? We kind of want them to call one day and go, ‘I'm breaking out. I'm going my own way.’ And as a parent, we go, as much as it may scare us, we're going, ‘Yes!’ I gave my kid the confidence and the courage and the foundation to say they're going to go their own way” “In a way, I think every parent honors and loves that moment. I heard my dad, when he didn't hear me stutter, when he heard me directly say what I said. I wasn't really asking him. Even though I was out of respect asking him, the way I said it, I wasn't asking him and I think he felt that” “Don't halfass it”

Scott Rueck on Oregon State and the year the school has had: "It's my university, so I care... One thing I'll say, it's hard hearing your school talked about in the way it's been talked about and in a way devalued. Clearly I don't see it that way... To turn a community and a region on it's ear has been a dream of mine and we've done that and we've done it at the highest level and we've gotten to this point a couple times now. What the value is, I don't know, but I know the timing of it's really great. We've been drug through the mud... All I know is Beaver Nation is awesome and Oregon State is an incredible university... And we can compete with anyone from there... It's been a joy of mine to put smiles on people's faces, especially this year."

Dillon Brooks talked to the media saying LeBron James is a social media junkie and he wished LeBron had taken the final shot because it would’ve been an airball 🎥 “I guess he's a social-media junkie ... He thinks that people should think a way about him .... play a certain way. I'm not going to play that way. Gets in his moods or in his modes or whatever it is. I'm all for that. I wish we let him shoot that shot. That would have been an airball."

Kamala Harris: And it is just outrageous that every day in our country that parents have to send their children to school worried about whether or not their child will come home alive. It's senseless. We've got to stop it. It does not have to be this way

"Tell me why I told my daughters school nurse that she's not coming to school anymore because I'm homeschooling her and she says I am sorry to hear that I hope everything is ok." "It's amazing! The government doesn't have to do it, I can do it!" We quickly went from homeschooling being somewhat stigmatized to now it being the GOLD STANDARD! THIS IS THE WAY!!

🧸 at school, you had your friends…you got to play football during lunch time…that’s why i actually really liked going to school, it was really fun to me 🧸 3 years is a bit much but if you tell me to go back to middle school for a year…i think i could do it again but (in this scenario) the after school academy needs to not be there 🙅 i would just go to school and i need to be able to play after school 🧸 if that’s the case, i would really diligently go to school…in that case, i could even go for 3 years 🧸 my friends from back then need to be the same too

A teacher responds to the one who broke down in tears because his class of High School seniors couldn't read the material, or write a basic sentence. As a middle school teacher she confirms what he said, and lays out the horrifying truth - kids are actually being DENIED the tools they need to learn. When she tried to get a variety of reading materials approved, she faced nothing but obstacles. "Here's the thing - literature is meant to provoke and inspire and encourage; it is meant to challenge the way that you think. If you only ever are exposed to viewpoints that perfectly match what you think, you will not grow into an articulate, well educated, critical thinking individual." Then she drives the point home with what so many of us have seen for years - "I'm starting to think that that's what people want. I don't think we can blame children for being stupid when we deny them resources that expand their mind." There IS an intentional effort to dumb down the education system because kids who aren't challenged grow into adults that are easy to manipulate and control. The evidence is there. Young people in particular are accepting of some of the most evil, destructive ideas known to humankind - and the only way to achieve that is to filter their "education" through an oppressor vs oppressive lens, and then train them to believe that anyone or anything that challenges their worldview is not only dangerous, those ideas and the people who believe them must be eliminated. This is intentional.
