49ers fans: I know you hate the Seahawks with every fiber of your being, but it’s OK to admit that Seattle is a damn good football team. Give credit, where credit is due. What John Schneider and Mike Macdonald have built is impressive. Even if the 49ers had Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, George Kittle and Mykel Williams, they still don’t go into Seattle and win that game yesterday. Why? Because it wouldn’t have changed the fact that the Niners are weak along the OL, have no team speed on offense and that’s led to Mike Macdonald owning Kyle Shanahan. The Seahawks from week 1 to now are a completely different team. They remade the roster last offseason. What the Niners did this season is highly impressive. What the Seahawks have built is what the 49ers have to stride toward dethroning. The Seahawks are probably going to win the Super Bowl. The 49ers aren’t close to doing that right now. 2025 was never San Francisco’s year. #49ers

Let's get them to a 5-0 and make them respect that we're in a balanced formation and now let's dictate to them what they have to do. The idea that housing prices simply need to come down to fix affordability misses the bigger picture. If you actually want homes people can afford, you have to look at the full cost stack, not just the final price. What about lowering personal taxes so families can qualify for homes in the first place? What about rethinking Net Zero mandates that add significant upfront cost without improving affordability? What about shrinking the layers of government that slow everything down? What about cutting red tape that delays projects and drives up prices? And yes, what about every level of government taking a hard look at the fees they add to each home? You cannot regulate your way to affordability while adding cost at every step. If we are serious about solving this, we need to stop pretending price is the problem and start fixing what is driving it.

Playing time is the ultimate motivator Every program has their non negotiables, and within the program each player has a certain role that they need to crush. A lot of players and parents struggle with the idea that you don’t get unlimited mistakes and chances. At some point, if you aren’t producing, you won’t be able to play. This will happen to 95% of players.. whether it’s for a couple possessions, for a couple games, or for a season. The real tell is the players ability to learn from it and grow!

I think you have to assume 3.5% growth over 10 years and tariff revenue at the rate we currently are bringing in. Then you start to wash out what we are doing in congress by our choice. If I'm characterizing anything incorrectly, does anybody want to challenge what I just said mathematically? With that I will yield back.
