I was so excited for the Sega CD, but once you had it, it got boring. But there are some great games. Lethal Enforcers with the Justifier Gun was a gem. Also the version of Streets of Rage that uses real voices for the characters is a hidden gem.

I still have mine. I always thought it was weird that sound was passed from the Genesis to the CD not through the expansion port, but by using a 3.5mm patch cable from the headphone jack to an input jack on the back of the CD.

My brother and I had the model that sat on the side of the Genesis with Sewer Shark. GOD we hated that fucking game. 🤣

The Sega CD was definitely a game changer! Seeing full motion video on a console back then blew my mind too, even with the compression artifacts. 💿 Which game did you borrow from your friend? Night Trap or maybe Sonic CD?

Well,.. a friend got one, and i bought two games for the console,.. Final fight CD and Jaguar XJ-220,.. we literally melt the power supply. 2 players simultaneous was the best with those 2 games on the Sega CD.

You can have grainy videos.. or you can have incredible anime graphics out of it. Lunar 2 for the sega CD is a masterpiece of 2D animation, and even the game itself looks incredible for the platform.

Do you know The Simpsons animation? Konami made an arcade game using the Simpsons IP, and it was a lot of fun. I naturally expected it to be ported to home consoles and waited for it, but in the end, it never came out on any console. Interestingly, though, it was ported to PC. It had a few shortcomings, but I have great memories of playing it on a 386 computer and having a really good time. Anyone else play it?

⭐️: I honestly spent so much time thinking about it. At first, I kept wondering if it was the right choice. Every time I looked in the mirror, it felt unfamiliar and a little awkward. And I think there are certain shades of blonde that suit me, and others that just don’t feel like me. But I really, really thought about it a lot. On top of that, there were times when I was out and about and had to deal with some not-so-great reactions because of it, so I had a lot of worries. I kept going back and forth in my head. When I wore that outfit for the music show performance, I actually couldn’t sleep at all the night before. I had so many thoughts and worries that I was basically fighting with myself. My mood was really bad that day. But even though my body felt like it weighed a ton, I dragged myself to the music show and did it. And while I was there, I was still battling with myself, thinking, “Is this really right? Am I just too stuck in my own perspective to see it clearly? Maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t get it.” But at the same time, I kept telling myself, “We already filmed the music video like this. This is something I have to commit to.” So I went on stage. I was honestly feeling really down that day. I had almost no confidence in myself. But later on, seeing that so many people understood it and liked it made me realise that maybe it wasn’t completely the wrong choice after all. All you had to do was beat your rival, but they would chase you so closely that the tension was incredible. When you win a race, you can use the prize money to upgrade your car, and with the variety of tracks, it never gets boring. I also have great memories of sitting with my friends, three of us sharing one keyboard and playing together. 😆

Poor guy had his paint can hanging from the garage door when his girl opened it. Wasn’t anybody’s fault but his imprint on the car was hilarious, could this have been avoided? Me thinks he won’t be doing that again. When I was fixing up the current house I was working on I left one of those paint cups on the steps. Some people knocked on the door while I was working so I rushed downstairs to check to see who it was. Some people saw I was working on a house and was asking about rent details. Afterwards I had a quick puff on the vape mod and grabbed a drink. I casually walked upstairs totally forgetting I left that cup on the stairs, I stepped in it with the front portion of my foot, fell onto the handing and was coated in a splash of paint, it got on the wood stairs as well. I didn’t have time to clean myself up well because I needed to hurry up and clean the wood stairs before the paint sets and stains it. I managed to get most of it but then a new problem arose. The paint on me was still dripping. So I had to strip down and throw the clothes in a wadded ball and bagged it. Now the problem is solved right? No, how can I walk to the car in my undershirts without being noticed by the neighbors. I ended up standing by the door waiting until the coast was clear, I swear it felt like an hour but was only about 7 minutes. I think I need to heed my own warnings and start packing a pair of a spare clothes for instances like this or at least some painters smocks.

A man who has never worked in a house before decides to attempt to install a roof vent because his home doesn’t have any and it’s causing massive heat spikes in the attic, how did he do, anything you would have done differently? I’ve been in his shoes before, I already told you about the first thing I attempted and I messed it up, not too bad but enough. Another time was when I was installing my first toilet. The one I was replacing leaked at the base. The flange it screwed into was a plastic Oatey flange and where the bolt holds down the toilet was broken. So the first thing I did was shut off the water, I drained the tank and proceeded to undo the bolts. I lifted it straight up and put it in a bag so it wouldn’t drip on the way down the stairs. I unscrewed the broken flange and replaced it with a new one. The problem was that since it was leaking, some of the wood was soft. I know I should have replaced the board but I didn’t. I ended up rotating the flange until I could screw into good dry board. That was my first mistake. Because after I got the new toilet base on, I over tightened it and not only cracked the toilet but I pulled up the flange because the wood was weak. Since I was replacing the tile anyways I ended up removing everything I did and I broke up all the tile and removed it. I took off the board and replaced it with a new one. I retraced my steps after I installed the vinyl floor planks and trimmed them to fit the flange. When I put the toilet back down it wasn’t flush. The old tile was thicker than the planks I put down so what I ended up doing was going to the store and getting silicone shims. In some spots I had to use several, I tightened it down and it worked well. No movement at all. I’m not sure if what I did was right but it worked. To this day that toilet is still in operation and it hasn’t budged since.

I unscrewed the broken flange and replaced it with a new one. The problem was that since it was leaking, some of the wood was soft. I know I should have replaced the board but I didn’t. I ended up rotating the flange until I could screw into good dry board. That was my first mistake. Because after I got the new toilet base on, I over tightened it and not only cracked the toilet but I pulled up the flange because the wood was weak. Since I was replacing the tile anyways I ended up removing everything I did and I broke up all the tile and removed it. I took off the board and replaced it with a new one. I retraced my steps after I installed the vinyl floor planks and trimmed them to fit the flange. When I put the toilet back down it wasn’t flush. The old tile was thicker than the planks I put down so what I ended up doing was going to the store and getting silicone shims. In some spots I had to use several, I tightened it down and it worked well. No movement at all. I’m not sure if what I did was right but it worked. To this day that toilet is still in operation and it hasn’t budged since.

The PC Engine was so expensive in the late ’80s and early ’90s that it was hard to find even in the homes of well-off friends. Working at the pizza place I’ve had some weird requests. Like this man here who didn’t have a stove and took some eggs to McDonald’s and asked them to cook it for him which surprisingly they did. He did pay her very well for the favor. I had a man come in who claimed that his electric was off because of the storm and he was in the middle of cooking a lasagna. He wrapped it up and brought it in and asked if I could cook it for him after he explained the circumstances. At first I was thinking I shouldn’t do it, I remember hearing it was against health code but I was in a good mood and many people did lose power so I decided to do it. I even added a little extra cheese on top and through in some garlic bread for free. The man knows I didn’t have to help him and most places wouldn’t but was gracious I did. I ended up gaining a long time customer with that gesture. I remember he came in one time to pick up a pizza and I ran out of cigarettes. I offered him money to run across the street for me to get some smokes. He said he would but he wouldn’t take my money saying he owed me a favor anyways.

In our 2021 interview with the Patriot, he spoke about Kurt Angle using his theme 'Medals' “Well, he got it the same way I did, I’m sure. I’ve never talked to Kurt [Angle] about that particular subject, but I was given a list of songs to listen to. I didn’t know at the time that [Sgt.] Slaughter had used it on one occasion to go to the ring or maybe more than one. But, I do know one occasion he had. It was the one I had picked out of the list of songs they gave me. I liked it the best. I thought it was fitting. Then he ended up using it as well. More power to him."
