Always ALWAYS MADLY Honk on Indian roads when overtaking a truck, bus, car, bike, cycle, pedestrian, cow, dog irrespective of whether it is moving or stationary. BLOWING HORN on Indian roads is as essential as keeping eyes open, everything else like gear, break etc. is secondary.

The driver of the Ford Aspire car stopped the vehicle in the wrong place, even though there was already a designated parking area where other vehicles were properly parked. Moreover, the passenger in the back seat opened the car door without looking. Because of this, the motorcycle lost balance and fell, leading to this painful accident. The Punjab Police should also register a case against the car driver, as this incident involved his negligence as well. @PunjabPoliceInd

Wear a helmet at least to reduce the amount of injuries to head. Nobody in India except few knows how to ride a car and how to travel in car. Drivers should be alerting passengers not to open on traffic side, I do it always.

Honking is a survival basics in India. Honk, Honk and Honk wherever there is a need without any hesitation.

Indian authorities are not at all serious about the safety and the implementation of the rules. Serious efforts with the help of NGOs are needed to change the driving habits of the driver.

Secondly, I don’t understand the fetish of Indian drivers parking so close to road. There is place for five cars, go away, park away ffs. Park parallel to road!! Same nonsense you see at airport & in toilet standing far from action area.

The car door was opened and it made the bike driver fall. This is why they ran away immediately. This is a murder.

India has been summed up in 31 seconds! No traffic sense coupled by lack of any sort of humanity from the bystanders or even the one who caused this killing. I wonder if Pakistani citizens are this bad..

There is something called ‘Dutch method of door opening’. While Indian drivers are animals with a gun, people can learn & avoid such death. The driver on white car should be arrested for culpable homicide and hit&run.
