TikTok's "powers that be" MUST be held accountable for this type of gross negligence. These companies use their algorithm to manipulate people, and it especially affects the most vulnerable. The company is very lucky this person isn't a minor, but I suspect we will be reading about a lawsuit in the near future.

The search function on TikTok has been HORRID lately. I think it’s using some AI stuff bc all the videos have weird things connected via search.

This is awful and I hope TikTok fixes it. A big issue is that the social media algorithm isn't for the user. It's for the app to keep you on their service. I've been inundated with videos online I never watch that are trying to take me down a rabbit hole and keep me online.

This is the mess that YOU created by going after a kid in the first place you potato. Now you’re ruining an innocent kid’s life and hurting a small business and for what? So you can feel like a social justice warrior from the comfort of your couch.
