Shane Steichen is 8-7 with 24 year old Anthony Richardson. Shane Steichen is 18-19 with everybody else. *Combined age 142 years old.* Instead of developing for a couple years. Shane chose below .500 his way. AR was never the problem. Shane was.

The point of the post is Shane Steichen is not a good coach , not a leader of men, and not a developer of humans. He needs the guys to fall in his lap and fit the system.

Anthony Richardson is fucking terrible. This is the craziest cope of all time. If you think you’re 8-2 with AR last year, you are truly delusional 😂 “This is what I wanted to happen, so I’m going to gaslight reality.”

And 2-3 ARs losses are cause major defensive blown games.. but Yup was and is obsessed with his love child Jones and convinced Carli he’s the guy. Dude was never real good and now coming off injury.. Meanwhile u have a young healthy generational talent, the type of QB teams want and dream of In this day and age… kid is black josh Allen..

It’s a stat that shows Shane Steichen has taken this team no where and doesn’t develop players.

AR has a 75 IQ, a couple highlight plays doesn't change this. How do you coach up someone who is running on half a tank upstairs?

AR can’t hit a wide open check down. Can’t hit a free 5 yard pass. Can’t keep the offense on schedule. Can’t read a blitz. Can’t read coverage. Can’t set a protection. Hasn’t developed with 3 years of chances. This is the most moronic, amnesia laced post I’ve seen all week.

Wrong. Lol. The guys whole career has been on "potential" wasn't even a good high school quarterback, Florida recruited him based off the "potential" he could be something like Cam Newton, never lived up to it, drafted to the NFL again based off potential. It's okay to admit when people are busts. Colts had a super hot start last year, Daniel Jones played and a fractured fibula for 5 games before it came out he was playing with an injury. They were the hottest offense in football for 8 weeks. Guess we're just going to ignore that little statistic. AR would make a great tight end, not a quarterback.

Youve cherry picked the good throws. More often than not he has sucked also.

Great playcaller, not a HC. He couldn’t motivate me to eat a sandwich. Players look sad when they lose, not mad. Completely abandoned a raw, developmental QB because he thought he was smarter than the room and his seat got hot.

Definitely. And DJ threw 3 picks that game

AR is not a starting qb. At least not in the NFL. Great runner and a great deep ball. But that’s it. His accuracy on short to intermediate passes sucks.

I wish DJ wasn't ready for the first 4 weeks so you could see AR really is the problem. DJ was lighting up teams before he got hurt last year. So much so they traded for Sauce. I'm so tired of hearing about how good AR is. He's only had one year where his QBR was over 62.5. 87.3

To be completely fair (cause its so fucked up how they handled AR), him tearing his labrum on a simple RPO, when he’s 6’5 250, on a basic football tackle, changed the math with him completely.

AR is bad, So is the team. Only ones decent is JT, and big Q

3 of those “8” wins he left the game not to return before half time. He’s got a losing record in games he both started AND finished.

I've been saying this. They sabotaged him with the playcalling as well. He's the reason AR got hurt

I know some of ya MF are not doing revisionist history on AR garbage ass If he was that good then how the fuck did he lose to DJ last season Ya quick to blame on DJ when it was Chris Ballard who nuked the future by trading for Sauce Gardner

At this point put him in there and let him sink or swim. At least hes mobile. Jones looks like he can barely move now.

agreed. W that being said, AR was pretty horrific in 2024 when he got his shot lmao. N let’s not act like he wasn’t on a roll w jones at the helm in 25. The colts r simply garbage because of DEFENSE! Idk if it’s the coaches or the players but the culture is garbage 🚮

Shane was right in going with DJ over AR. Shane also now is married to a mediocre QB that he chose. Shane Ballard and AR all should not be colts in 2026. Is what it is.

You are stupid We were 8-9 both years AR was playing and he played half them years but couldn't stay healthy DJ had us at 8-2 before getting hurt Had he not got hurt we would've won it all and probably been 14-3 at worse by the end of last year

Guybrows's profile picture

He tried to fit AR into his system, not build an offense around him. Sure, he called certain plays when AR was in, but doesn’t mean he built his offense around him. He still was playing system where he wants a game manager that stays on schedule, AR is at his best off schedule

AR is 6-7 in games he didn’t exit in the 1st quarter with an injury. The other two are hardly wins of his doing lmao

In all fairness we don't know what happened behind the scenes. For all we know Shane said he wants to continue developing and that terrorist Chris Ballard said no, you must win now.

Shane went 8-7 with the worst QB in NFL history. Sounds like coach of the year material to me
