Rodger has given forty years service to PFC with twenty of those spent as Chairman, a huge amount of selfless hard work, dedication and financial contribution. As he also helped fund one of the stands here at Balmoor, it was only fitting that the main stand bear the name of "Mr Peterhead" 🔵⚪💙 From those within the club who know him well: "I hold Rodger in very high regard, all those years heading up the club can't have been easy, lesser men would have taken the easy route and moved on. This is a very worthy tribute naming the stand after him" - Les Hill, PFC Vice-Chairman “Rodger has been involved for many decades with the club at Peterhead FC. He was heavily involved when we played at Recreation Park, and was instrumental in the discussions and move to Balmoor Stadium. His knowledge of local businesses, and those further afield, has ensured that the name of Peterhead FC is well publicised. Around 8.45 am that day, the law student, Hemanth, and a car driver, Shreyas, were involved in a road rage incident and were fighting in the middle of the road, holding up traffic. Police Constable Manjunath, who was near the traffic junction, asked them to clear the street for traffic, which enraged Hemanth, who allegedly abused the constable, a police officer said. When WPSI Nayana D intervened and questioned Hemanth about the argument, he allegedly introduced himself as a lawyer and confronted her. He allegedly abused her vulgarly, which may have led her to slap him, the officer said. Hemanth’s family members also allegedly body-shamed her, the officer added.
