She'll make it out. 💛 But recovery requires a lot of support fr the 1st 2-3y esp. A roof over your head & ppl who care abt you & your potential even as your brain tells u I'll nvr feel happy or secure again & u're worthles, hvg lost too much to reclaim. I hope she gets on subs.

She doesn’t know anything else.. at 18, thats absolutely tragic!

@orlaminihane It's not that simple, especially cold turkey and without substitutes like Suboxone/Methadone. Plus you've to hit rock bottom, the pits of desperation & shame where your conscience screams no more-I can't pay this price before you decide enough. That looks different for everyone.

@orlaminihane This girl's not known anything else. She doesn't hv a good job or education or much to look fwd to. Yet. 1ce in residential rehab, she'll get vocational training & rebuild. Most people don't have the luxury of changing cities but it helps. A lot. You HAVE to cut off everyone who

@orlaminihane enabled your former life-drugs friends and the city with its dens (you know where to score/whom to call). She needs (1 yr+) in-patient, w freedom of mvt curbed, caring counsellors, a good psychiatrist. The best thing that can happen is she gets caught by police & sent to rehab.

No child chooses this path. She was failed long before she ever made decisions. At 13 she needed protection, not predators; at 18 she needs support, not judgement. We can’t call ourselves a civilized society while letting kids grow into homelessness and addiction. We must prioritise prevention, treatment, and safety, not punishment or abandonment.

This is sad and shocking. There is an individual on here whose ex is doing 19 years for drug offences and yet she is wanting this crap legalised!

Everything is upside down! We fight to protect the wrong things.

That is a fact that is being played out daily by this treacherous government and we the Great British people are being punished for being patriotic.

This is gut-wrenching 😢💔 A girl being pushed into drugs and exploitation at 13… and at 18 we act like society has nothing to do with it? Absolutely not. We should be protecting, supporting and rehabilitating young people like her, not turning a blind eye while she’s left to survive on the streets. Our priorities are completely upside down – funding, policies, and attention need to focus on vulnerable kids before it’s too late. #ProtectYouth #EndExploitation #SupportNotAbandon #UKSocialCare #RestoreBritain

Streetwise

At 13 heroin & prostitution😠Someone has been exploiting this vulnerable female for 5 years! Sadly, as in so many other areas, Telford, Rotherham. Rochdale etc, the police/authorities turn a blind eye to the pimps/organisers/groomers/pushers & allege it's their choice. it's not!

Forced institutional treatment is the only thing that can make the biggest impact.

if she was a migrant she would be in the best therapy going

By "wrapping our arms around girls like this," do you mean involuntarily committing them to an asylum where they get involuntary treatment (for as long as it takes) and provide all the mental health support that is required? Maybe even add on some job training and placement? Yes.

My heart breaks for this kid, she isn't going to make old bones. 🥺

Meanwhile illegal invaders are in hotels! This is insane!

"Wrapping our arms around girls like this" would mean giving them a bit of a slap first, restraining them, and making their decisions for them. Don't think enough modern Brits are up for that. sadly.

Nobody should be living on the street. Police should be forced to intervene instead of ignoring their plight. Vulnerable people should be compulsorily escorted to a safe place to sleep with mental health professionals in attendance; allowing poor decision making is not kindness

The Princess of Wales said the very same thing this week. Drug addiction should be made an illness instead of a crime. No government ever has a clue what is going on down here in peasant land.

Where are these drugs coming from? The people who think border control doesn’t matter are responsible for this. Most heroin destined for the UK market is thought to originate from Afghanistan.

Anyone know who she is? She needs help. You don't start taking heroine at 13 years old without serious problems. I wish we could help her get into rehab then ongoing support, not sure that would work, just feel so bad for her.

So sad and sadly so many other girls in the same position 😢

But I thought Liverpool labour were for helping the vulnerable, I mean corbyn and his militant scouse idiots walked the streets protesting against the tories etc

So very many things wrong with this country. Whilst the oldest profession has always been with us, I cannot believe that once again our dreadful governments spend untold billions on societal issues around the world, but ignore the horrors to be found on our own streets.. This must change. . . ..

Not forgetting, we do the same for our boys to ensure they never become the clients as men.

There will be no charity for whites - not yet

What a beautiful girl 😢 This country is so messed up 🤬

If taxes actually went back to the people she’d have access to free rehab

Yes, as a community, we absolutely have a responsibility to offer support and compassion to individuals struggling with addiction. At the same time, we must acknowledge how extraordinarily challenging long term recovery can be. Many people with prolonged substance use problems experience deeply entrenched patterns. and for some the immediate relief and familiarity of being high can outweigh their desire for change even when meaningful help is available. It’s gut wrenching. I’ve witnessed this firsthand. It is truly heartbreaking: someone makes progress, regains hope, and then, once they’re on their own again, the pull of the substance proves overwhelming and they relapse. It’s devastating for them, for their loved ones, and for everyone who has invested in their recovery.

She is where she is by her choice.

I feel like there needs to be some women only support rehab housing set up outside of cities with trauma treatments and longer term support. I am guessing trauma is biggest cause of problems. I am happy to pay extra in tax to fund it.

She's white so the Labour party despise her.

Introduce them to drugs ,make them addicted , then sell them and they do it willingly after they are addicts Usually other girls or the boyfriend or girlfriend introduce them to this in order to trap them after inflicting trauma on them and isolating them systematically

What her own dad did to her 😢😢😢

What keeps you from helping her?

We need to help our own citizens. Why are the politicians turning their backs on British people? Yet supporting the rest of the world. British people are being treated like trash to be discarded in favour of migrants. How does this make sense? It has to be deliberate

The fact is that Britain will never get a grip on this crisis while it pretends that prostitution is somehow harmless if the woman calls herself an escort. It is all the same pipeline. It starts with a vulnerable girl, then a dealer, then a pimp, then a “client”, and eventually she is discarded on a pavement like the girl in that photo. The only difference between a trafficked child and a so called independent escort is marketing. If we are serious about protecting vulnerable young women, then all forms of prostitution must be illegal. Not just the overt sex trafficking operations run by men like Andrew Tate and Epstein, but also the respectable looking escort industry that launders the same exploitation under cleaner language. Every part of the trade destroys lives, spreads addiction, and provides predators with a steady supply of girls who never stood a chance. Legal ambiguity creates a grey zone where organised crime thrives. Complete prohibition shuts that space. It means no brothels hiding in plain sight, no grooming networks pretending to be “agencies”, no wealthy middle aged men buying access to damaged teenagers through an app. It restores the moral clarity that a civilised country needs if it wants to defend its daughters. If we do not criminalise the entire trade, we will continue to see children who fall through the cracks, get hooked, get used, and end up on the street. Britain cannot claim to care about vulnerable women while it allows an industry built on their destruction to operate openly. Prostitution has to go, in every form, or this cycle will never end.

Just by the numbers there has to be way more boys in the same or worse situation. Around 80% of homelessness is male. Why is the focus always on women and girls. Of course it's a shame she's in that situation, and she shouldn't be. There are worse problems out there and no one cares about them because they're male.

💯👌 “As a society we should be wrapping our arms around girls like this.” A concept every community should embrace.

Honestly this is heartbreaking. What kind of man goes to young girls (or any other human being for that matter) like that and think it's ok to use her terrible situations to satisfy their own sexual desires. I'm so sorry for her.

This video was designed to draw sympathy for the prostitute soon-to-be mom on the streets, but the truth is she wouldn’t be on the streets if she were not selfishly still smoking crack. This baby doesn’t stand a chance, and this girl will undoubtedly begin selling off her baby’s things when the drug money runs out... and eventually, the baby as well. Lock her up, and take that baby.
