I am very happy to present `hermes record`, a Hermes Labs plugin built by Nous Research. it records what you do in your browser, creates a skill and Hermes can then repeat the task with whatever details you give it. in this video, I record my pizza order, then use /learn to make a skill out of that recording, then ask my Hermes Agent to place a different order on its own :) 'hermes plugins install workflow-record' AGI.

HERMES AGENT JUST SHIPPED A PROFILE BUILDER IN THE DASHBOARD. build a complete agent in one guided flow. no CLI. no config editing. no guesswork. Nous Research open Profiles from the sidebar. click Build (next to quick Create). follow the 5-step wizard: Identity → Model → Skills → MCPs → Review IDENTITY → name, description, SOUL.md → this becomes slot #1 in the system prompt MODEL → pick provider and model for this agent → same 150+ config fields available in the dashboard SKILLS → toggle built-in and optional skills → search the Skills Hub across all sources → install with live progress log → update all installed skills in one click MCPs → add HTTP/SSE servers by URL → add stdio servers by command + args + env vars → browse the Nous-approved MCP catalog → one-click install from catalog → test any server before committing (connect → list tools → verify → disconnect) REVIEW → full summary of the new agent → confirm and deploy one wizard replaces: hermes profile create, manual SOUL.md edit, config.yaml changes, skills install one by one, MCP setup via CLI. hermes dashboard → Profiles → Build 8 loops inside Hermes Agent 👇

Nous Calendar — What did Nous ship today? 🗓️ Nous shipped 2,189 changes to Hermes Agent this month. Most of us saw maybe three. 8 releases. 12 new official plugins. 417 new catalog plugins. In 23 days. 🤯 So I built Nous Calendar: every Nous drop on one page, inside Hermes Desktop. What you get: ▸ Every day is a card: black is a release, blue is a launch ▸ Tap a day to see exactly what shipped, links open inside Hermes ▸ The day's biggest posts on X, with their views ▸ Tells you when you're behind on updates, and copies the fix ▸ Every new plugin is one click to install ▸ Ask Hermes "what did Nous ship today?" in any chat Free and open source. Reads public GitHub and a small public feed of the biggest posts. No account, no model calls. Install command + phone link in the first reply 👇

This Hermes update is honestly kind of scary. Your agent now decides which AI to hire for every job. Nous Research just released Advanced Delegation, an official Hermes plugin. When Hermes hands a task to a subagent, it can now pick the right model or profile for it: → A fast, cheap model for lookups, summaries and simple edits → A deep model for the hard thinking → A local model when the data has to stay on your machine → Or one of your Hermes profiles, with its own skills, keys and personality You set the routes. The agent picks one by name. It never sees your keys, so it can't invent a route. One agent. A whole team underneath it. To set it up: → Update to Hermes 0.22.5 or newer → Run: hermes plugins install advanced-delegation → Run: hermes delegation config to add your routes → Type /new to start a fresh chat Want my Hermes setup? DM me "SOP" and I'll send it over 👊

OKAY, THIS IS BIG. HERMES DESKTOP IN YOUR BROWSER IS NOW OFFICIAL. 👀 A few weeks ago, Bear put the real Hermes Desktop in a web browser. Now it's merged into Hermes itself. The full Desktop workspace, served straight from your Hermes gateway. No separate server. No relay. What it does: ▸ Chat, files, terminal and profiles, right in a browser tab ▸ Same conversations as your CLI, Desktop app and messaging apps ▸ Touch-friendly layouts for phones and tablets ▸ One command to open it: hermes webapp ▸ Settings → Web Access serves it on your network or your own URL, behind Nous sign-in ▸ hermes webapp --sign-out signs every browser out at once And here's what makes this so interesting... Any device with a browser can now be your Hermes Desktop. Your laptop, a work machine, even your phone. Community build to official feature. That's how Hermes keeps growing. Repo + setup in the first reply. 🔥 Huge credit to Bear Bear

Okay, this one's nuts. Hermes Agent can make 3D models now. Meshy's official plugin is live in the Hermes plugin catalog. ▸ Text or a photo to a full 3D model ▸ Texture, rig and animate it ▸ Prep it for 3D printing ▸ Orbit it right in the chat on Hermes Desktop ▸ Export GLB, FBX, OBJ, STL or USDZ If you build games or run a 3D printer, your agent just turned into a 3D studio.

HERMES AGENT DASHBOARD JUST GOT A FULL CONTROL PLANE. Before: you edited YAML files, ran CLI commands, and hoped nothing broke. Now: everything lives in one clean UI. → MCP catalog — browse and install servers in one click → Webhooks — create, toggle and disable without restarting gateway → Shell hooks — connect any script as a lifecycle hook (with consent) → Device pairing — approve or revoke remote devices → System monitoring — CPU, memory, disk, uptime and backup status The full control plane is finally here. Just run `hermes update` and open the dashboard.

The first official Hermes Desktop plugin is Kanban, now desktop native by popular request and significantly upgraded. A plugin can add its own page, sidebar row, hotkeys, status bar actions, and backend endpoints. You can write your own plugin or import one using the SDK.

You can now connect Hermes Agent directly to your browser as a side panel. It's called Hermes Browser Extension. It reads your active tab and sends the context straight into a live Hermes session. > Summarize, explain, or extract action items from any page > Connects to a local gateway, Hermes Cloud, or a self-hosted server > Works with Chrome, Edge, Brave, and other Chromium browsers > Full Hermes runtime: tools, skills, sessions, and memory included 100% Free. Open Source.

Big one for the Hermes Agent community. TinyFish is now a plugin in the Nous Research Hermes Agent. Your Hermes agent gets free Search and Fetch, so it can find and read the live web at $0. When a task needs real clicks, TinyFish Browser and Web Agent are one approval away.

Hermes Agent has too many plugins. No idea which ones your agent needs?🥸 👉Hermes Agent makes choosing easier: explore plugins by category, understand what they do, and find the right fit for your workflow. Less guesswork. More building.🚀

Finally, a proper chat UI for Hermes Agent (open-source)! Hermes ships an official dashboard, but it's primarily built for management, and its chat is just a terminal piped into a browser tab. Hermes Web UI is an open-source chat-first alternative. It's self-hosted and points at your existing ~/.hermes state, so there's nothing new to configure. - It's a native web chat, not a terminal in a tab - Sessions group by date with a context ring - Kanban renders the agent's task board - Spaces manages your workspaces - Skills panel lists the full catalog - Tasks panel shows cron jobs - Insights show usage and activity - Memory shows MEMORY and SOUL files - Logs tails the agent, gateway, and error logs The whole setup runs 100% locally, binds to localhost by default, and you reach it over an SSH tunnel or Tailscale from your phone. I have shared the Hermes Web UI GitHub repo in the replies. Do note that it's a community project, not official, so expect occasional rough edges (concurrent profile runs are blocked for now). To dive deeper into Hermes Agent, my co-founder wrote a full masterclass about it, covering the learning loop, the memory tiers, self-evolving skills, GEPA, and running multiple isolated agents. Read it below.
