▪️NTA has issued new date for NEET-UG Exam. The re-exam will be held on June 21. The exam took place on 3rd May and on 7th May, NTA received a complaint that the guess paper had some questions that were present in the Question sheets this time. ▪️The Higher Education Department initiated an immediate inquiry and the matter was then handed over to the concerned agencies of the Government of India. They contacted the state agencies and by May 12th, we were confirmed that under the guise of a guess paper, the actual examination questions had indeed been leaked. ▪️We did not want any deserving student to be deprived of their rights because of the conspiracy of education mafias or because an undeserving candidate benefited through unfair means. ▪️After the irregularities that surfaced last time, the Radhakrishnan Committee had been constituted, and we implemented its recommendations. Despite that, this incident occurred. The CJP guy doesn’t even know the name of the chairman of the committee constituted to look into NEET reforms. He has NO answer as to why no demand was made for resignation of Punjab and Karnataka Education ministers who are exactly in the same boat as Pradhan when the leaders of those parties visited Jantar Mantar. We could see two contrasting videos today where one educates and the other misguides. Hon'ble Minister Udhay - தமிழ்நாட்டை தலைகுனிய விடமாட்டேன் as a responsible leader of a people centric movement speaks with historical clarity and political integrity. He explains why NEET is not just flawed but fraudulent. He recalls how in early days of medical education Sanskrit was mandatory to even apply for medical education. This was not about merit but about exclusion. He also explains that it was the Justice party, the ideological foundation of today's DMK that abolished such discriminatory practice. He highlights the case of Miss Nila Bharathi, a student from Tamil Nadu who couldn't secure a medical seat via NEET but later went on to top the State in the UPSC examination - the most competitive examination of the nation. He rightly points out that NEET isn't about intelligence, and implies that it's only about expensive coaching and repeated drilling. On the other hand, actor turned politcal actor, TVK Vijay takes a completely different route. Instead of standing up for the students of Tamil Nadu, for the health infrastructure of Tamil Nadu, educating them about the marketocracy of neet, he tells students "NEET is not the only exam" through which he implies that medicine is not the only field to aspire to. This is exactly what RSS BJP ecosystem has been repeating since NEET was imposed. Its a cop out, not a solution. By diverting attention, normalising NEET,and refusing to take a political stand vijay has shown a disturbing alignment with the BJP RSS narrative which seems to be deliberate and due to lack of political knowledge. Here the students were demanding justification on the grounds of the paper leak only but not about the grace marks or anything else, because it was listed on 1st June before results. The Question They Didn't Want Answered - And Why It Matters Even More Today This is one of the more revealing exchanges I've had in Question Period. I asked straightforward questions about government decision-making, lobbying, and conflicts of interest involving the Premier. Instead of answers, I was met with interruptions, insults, and repeated attempts to shut down the discussion. Watch closely. Ask yourself: Why was this question so difficult to answer? And why were they so determined to prevent it from being asked? Since this exchange, Albertans have witnessed controversy after controversy involving sole-source contracts, procurement practices, government appointments, and questions of transparency and accountability. And now, AHS has been ordered by the courts to turn over documents to law enforcement. That development makes this exchange even more relevant. The details may change, but the pattern remains the same. When legitimate questions are raised, this government dodges responsibility. Too often we see deflection, obstruction, and theatrics. Question Period exists for one reason: accountability. Albertans deserve answers, not excuses. The Question They Didn't Want Answered - And Why It Matters Even More Today This is one of the more revealing exchanges I've had in Question Period. I asked straightforward questions about government decision-making, lobbying, and conflicts of interest involving the Premier. Instead of answers, I was met with interruptions, insults, and repeated attempts to shut down the discussion. Watch closely. Ask yourself: Why was this question so difficult to answer? And why were they so determined to prevent it from being asked? Since this exchange, Albertans have witnessed controversy after controversy involving sole-source contracts, procurement practices, government appointments, and questions of transparency and accountability. And now, AHS has been ordered by the courts to turn over documents to law enforcement. That development makes this exchange even more relevant. The details may change, but the pattern remains the same. When legitimate questions are raised, this government dodges responsibility. Too often we see deflection, obstruction, and theatrics.
