▪️NTA has issued new date for NEET-UG Exam. The re-exam will be held on June 21. The exam took place on 3rd May and on 7th May, NTA received a complaint that the guess paper had some questions that were present in the Question sheets this time. ▪️The Higher Education Department initiated an immediate inquiry and the matter was then handed over to the concerned agencies of the Government of India. They contacted the state agencies and by May 12th, we were confirmed that under the guise of a guess paper, the actual examination questions had indeed been leaked. ▪️We did not want any deserving student to be deprived of their rights because of the conspiracy of education mafias or because an undeserving candidate benefited through unfair means. ▪️After the irregularities that surfaced last time, the Radhakrishnan Committee had been constituted, and we implemented its recommendations. Despite that, this incident occurred. We could see two contrasting videos today where one educates and the other misguides. Hon'ble Minister Udhay as a responsible leader of a people centric movement speaks with historical clarity and political integrity. He explains why NEET is not just flawed but fraudulent. He recalls how in early days of medical education Sanskrit was mandatory to even apply for medical education. This was not about merit but about exclusion. He also explains that it was the Justice party, the ideological foundation of today's DMK that abolished such discriminatory practice. He highlights the case of Miss Nila Bharathi, a student from Tamil Nadu who couldn't secure a medical seat via NEET but later went on to top the State in the UPSC examination - the most competitive examination of the nation. He rightly points out that NEET isn't about intelligence, and implies that it's only about expensive coaching and repeated drilling. On the other hand, actor turned politcal actor, TVK Vijay takes a completely different route. Instead of standing up for the students of Tamil Nadu, for the health infrastructure of Tamil Nadu, educating them about the marketocracy of neet, he tells students "NEET is not the only exam" through which he implies that medicine is not the only field to aspire to. This is exactly what RSS BJP ecosystem has been repeating since NEET was imposed. Its a cop out, not a solution. By diverting attention, normalising NEET,and refusing to take a political stand vijay has shown a disturbing alignment with the BJP RSS narrative which seems to be deliberate and due to lack of political knowledge. The choice is clear, One speaks the truth and fights for rights. The other surrenders to the Union and sugarcoats injustice. Dravidian movement is about educating the people. Not misguiding.

This was one of the most wonderful debates I have ever watched. It was hosted by Sanya Talwar Ji (Sanya Talwar) so beautifully and in such a balanced manner. However, I would like to quote one part of the debate. With due respect to Sr. Adv. Mr. Gopal Sankaranarayanan, his statement that “Judges don’t appoint Judges,” followed by his reference to Mr. Anand Ranganathan (Anand Ranganathan) and the remark, “Let’s not fool ourselves anymore,” was, in my humble view, in rather poor taste. Mr. Gopal stated that the Collegium of the Supreme Court forwards a certain number of names, say, a list of 7, to the Union Government, which then selects 4 and appoints them. He questioned why the Supreme Court does not ask what happened to the remaining 3 and suggested that the Cabinet Secretary should be called upon to explain the same before the Court. However, if that is the question being asked of the Union Government, then a corresponding question also arises, when the Supreme Court Collegium selects those seven names, who questions the Collegium as to why those particular seven names were chosen? What happened to the many other deserving candidates who may have been considered but were not recommended? The question, therefore, should be examined from both sides, with the same degree of transparency and accountability. Sai Deepak J

For today's listing, the Supreme Court said that the sanctity of the exam is compromised that means somewhere they also feel that there have been some kind of issues in the examination and asked NTA to answer this before 8 July but they have not given any relief on the counselling..."
