Q is wrong here. Everyone is fake early on in dating because dating is competitive & you're trying to get the person to be into you. "Just be yourself" is bad faith advice to men so they can get screened easily, meanwhile women are fake AF. Q isn't being himself on camera, none of these influencers are authentic. They're all selling a brand. Q is saying what he knows the women want to hear. The truth is you need to be better than yourself in early dating and make more of an effort. Then you get to know each other during the honeymoon period as you both revert to your real selves.
