A legislature that is open to the people becomes stronger, more effective, and more responsive. When citizens are included in the law-making process, when they understand how decisions are made, and when they can see the work of their representatives clearly, democracy becomes meaningful. Public confidence grows when governance is not hidden but visible and accessible. - Nuhu Bamali, the 19th Fulani Emir of the Zazzau Emirate, Zaria, Kaduna State, speaking at the 2026 NASS Open Week.

Faye: "I just wanted everyone to see, I’m not going anywhere from the GL world, okay? I’m still part of a GL series. Please stay tuned, stay tuned. Whenever I give a little spoiler, people start overthinking and making it bigger than it is, interpreting things this way and that, feeling hurt or misunderstanding. So just… stay tuned for now, okay? Don’t overthink it. Really, I haven’t gone anywhere. I still want to work on GL series. I haven’t disappeared at all, everyone. Don’t overthink it, don’t worry too much. But I’m going to be part of a project, just wait and see. Because when I say even a little bit, people start interpreting it and misunderstanding. I’m just trying to protect everyone’s feelings. I don’t want anyone to feel too much or get the wrong idea. Let’s wait until I can properly announce it. When I tell you everything clearly, then you’ll understand all at once, right?" #FayePeraya #ฝ้ายพีรญา

For years Republicans in Washington have been making promises about what would happen when we regained control of the White House and Congress. Now that we have total control we haven’t been able to do anything. The Uniparty thinks they can wait us out and go back to business as usual once President Trump is out of office. I’m not going to let that happen. MAGA needs a resurgence and I need your help before my FEC Deadline.

🇲🇽🇺🇸 No deal. Talks delayed. And Mexico still thinks this can work. That’s what makes the latest U.S.-Mexico trade negotiations interesting: despite the setback, Mexico isn’t publicly signaling that talks are falling apart. Foreign Minister Roberto Velasco’s “I’m always cautiously optimistic” is careful language, but that caution matters: Mexico is keeping expectations under control while making clear it still believes there’s room to negotiate. With the two economies deeply connected through manufacturing, supply chains and cross-border commerce, uncertainty itself carries a cost as businesses wait to see what rules they’ll be operating under. The question now is whether this delay creates room for compromise or simply postpones the hardest decisions. Source: Bloomberg / Writer: Val

It’s Passover weekend… and every year, I get invited to a Seder like I know what I’m doing. I walk in like “Shalom, is there a brisket here I can bless or…?” Listen—no one told me you gotta wait four hours before you eat. They’re passing around parsley like it’s an appetizer. I’m Italian! We open with a meatball! To all my Jewish friends: thank you for making me an honorary guest at the most structured dinner party on Earth. I still don’t know what “Dayenu” means, but I’m singing it like it’s Sinatra. L’chaim—and pass the gefilte fish, I guess?

This video clearly shows why, under his leadership, the गृहमंत्री कार्यालय, HMO India is making the impossible possible, strengthening the nation's security. Coz He doesn't run his ministry from an air-conditioned room in Delhi, nor does he look for political gains before taking any decisions, as earlier govt ministers used to do, he works shoulder-to-shoulder with his soldiers at every level, spends time with them like this👇 and boost their moral with his presence and gestures. Haters can hate him, abuse him, but every patriot like me is saluting him for his service of the nation. Amit Shah Amit ShahOffice #AmitShah

In most cases, workers with legal work permits can only apply for renewals six months before they expire – but the government can take far longer than that. The Trump Admin issued a rule getting rid of automatic extensions of work permit renewals, meaning that folks who have done everything right and played by the rules could lose their ability to work legally while they wait for the government to issue their renewals. Businesses and our economy as a whole will suffer without these workers, making prices go UP. I’m headed to the Senate floor to force a vote and reverse this unfair rule now.

Mark of the beast...UK is going full blown Authoritarian state. “Today I’m announcing I’m making a Free of Charge Digital ID - Mandatory” “Let me Spell that out - you will not be able to……” “It’s as simple as that” Brits will not have the right to earn to live in the UK if they do not get this universal ID that is designed to control, track, and monitor every detail of life. It's time for conservative Brits to leave the UK. Leave the radical liberal left to sit with their destructive decisions. They voted and wanted this authoritarian dictator, let them sit with it. The rest can and MUST leave. You don't have to live this way. Seek asylum in America.

In less than a month, our UCP government will introduce critical legislation to ensure that children wait until adulthood before making decisions to physically alter their bodies for gender transition. We will also strengthen parental rights within our education system regarding this issue and ensure that women and girls can compete in female-only sports divisions. While these are sensitive topics, our government believes these measures are in the best interests of children, and we will proceed with these changes without delay. As this legislation is debated, we invite all Albertans to join the conversation. Regardless of differing opinions, we must ensure that all children identifying as transgender know they are cared for and supported.

After more than a week, Joe Rogan finally addresses the Iran war by laughably bringing on Michael Shellenberger. While Tucker Carlson and others are bringing on decorated military voices and experts, Rogan goes with this shill? The JRE is the biggest podcast in the world. He can and has done much better. But he went with this? “It’s not really clear they’re out for regime change… I’m not sure that’s what they’re going for.” “Trump is in charge. He’s making these decisions. There’s nobody behind him — not the Russians, not the Israelis. Trump is in charge. I think that’s one of the big lessons from this.” What a joke.

while talking about pet adoption, chenle said you really have to do it with true sincerity, the person who wants to adopt needs to have that love and responsibility in their heart. he said it’s not like, ‘i want a puppy right now so i’m gonna get one.’ you have to be sure you can take responsibility for them for their whole life, and that you can give them the love they deserve. that’s when it’s truly right to raise one. but if it’s like, ‘i want a puppy! i’ll get one!’ and then you get tired of them later… that’s honestly the worst. so chenle said that when we’re making decisions about a life, we really, really have to be careful… oh chenle :( ♥︎

Jeff Bezos explains what it means to disagree and commit “Disagree and commit is a really important principle that saves a lot of arguing.” Jeff Bezos begins. “In society, and inside companies, we have a bunch of mechanisms we use to resolve disputes. And a lot of them are really bad. An example of a really bad way of coming to an agreement is compromise.” He continues: “The advantage of compromise as a resolution mechanism is that it’s low energy, but it doesn’t lead to truth… You shouldn’t allow compromise to be used when you can know the truth.” Another bad resolution mechanism is the more stubborn person winning: “You have two executives who disagree and they just have a war of attrition. And whichever one gets exhausted first, capitulates to the other one. Again you haven’t arrived at truth and it’s very demoralizing.” Jeff tells people on his team to never get to a point where you’re resolving something by who gets exhausted first: “Escalate that. I’ll help you make the decision.” When making decisions, you want to get as close to the truth as possible: “Exhausting the other person is not truth-seeking. And compromise is not truth-seeking.” But there are a lot of cases where no one knows the real truth and that’s where “disagree and commit” comes in: “Escalation is better than war of attrition. Escalate to your boss and say ‘we can’t agree on this. We like each other and respect each other, but we strongly disagree with each other and need you to make a decision so we can move forward.’ Decisiveness and moving forward on decisions as quickly as you responsibly can is how you increase velocity. Most of what slows things down is taking too long to make decisions.” Companies tend to organize hierarchically in which the more senior person ultimately makes the decision. But as Jeff explains, that wasn’t always the case—he would often be the one to disagree and commit: “I would often say: ‘You know what, I don’t think you’re right. But I’m going to gamble with you and you’re closer to the ground truth than I am. I’ve known you for 20 years—you have great judgement. I don’t know that I’m right either—all of these decisions are complicated. Let’s do it your way.’ But at least then you’ve made a decision, and I’m agreeing to commit to that decision. I’m not going to be second guessing it. I’m not going to be sniping at it. I’m not going to be saying ‘I told you so.’ I’m going to actively try to make sure it works. That’s a really important teammate behavior.” Video source: Lex Fridman (2023)

Two words I've banned from my vocabulary: Should and ought. I tell my kids if you start with that stuff, I'm cutting you off mid-sentence. "The world should be fairer." "I ought to have gotten into a better school." "Life ought to work differently." You know what? It doesn't. Life is unfair. Deal with the world the way it is, not the way you wish it were. As an investor this is especially dangerous. The moment you start making decisions based on how the world ought to behave, you're going to lose money. We don't live in a normalized world. We live in the real one. You can speak out. You can try to reform things. You can knock on doors for better politicians. But first, see the world clearly. Exactly as it is.

CALLER: Dave, I’m 45, engaged and worth almost $20 MILLION But my fiancée has no idea. DAVE RAMSEY: You’re engaged and she doesn’t know? CALLER: No. I’ve been hiding it.
