It is very weird how the fog doesn't cull in this game. I thought that was a way to optimize performance.

While I love the SH series, and SH2 most of all, I actually wouldn't mind an abandoned-town game, sans monsters and any scifi / fantasy elements. What would it be like to just explore abandoned towns as a game? Complete with overcast skies and rain.
