Imo, whether the gacha system is good or bad entirely depends on the amount of resources you get and the amount of time the limited character banners stay up. No 50/50 is already huge. If limited banners are up for a month and we get enough pulls per month, I'll be happy.

Today, Black & White turns 25 years old. Happy birthday! Developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Electronic Arts on 27 March 2001, the project was led by none other than Peter Molyneux. It is widely regarded as a textbook example of a game that was too ambitious for its time, resources, and team size. Still critically acclaimed and a cult favourite, it underperformed commercially relative to the massive hype surrounding it (and Molyneux’s name). The game combined god-game mechanics (influencing villagers and facing moral choices between good and evil), a learning AI creature, gesture-based controls, hand-of-god interaction, and a massive open world. This was groundbreaking in 2001, but it also pushed hardware limits too far for the average user. I’m not surprised it came from Lionhead Studios. Peter Molyneux had previously led Bullfrog, a team also known for innovation and ambitious games.

Silver Palace Performance Results After 48 Hours of Testing !! 1. The game currently runs worse than Wuthering Waves, with frequent frame drops. 2. The developers have released 3 updates so far, and I noticed that the CPU bottleneck has been reduced. 3. These results are on DLSS Quality. DLAA has even more stuttering. Question: Is it fixable? Answer: It depends. No matter what, this game is going to be very demanding. If you look at NTE, it uses a hybrid graphics system where you can disable SSR through presets, but Silver Palace doesn't have an option like that. Combined with other heavy graphical effects, performance takes a noticeable hit. This hybrid system should have been available from the start. Since we're only in CBT2, I expect some improvements before launch. Based on my testing, the game will likely perform similarly to STALKER 2, and performance will also depend heavily on Frame Generation. I also noticed CPU bottlenecks on both DLAA and DLSS in almost every area. Things that need to be added: Render Distance setting — this would significantly reduce CPU bottlenecks for mid-range and low-end CPUs. #SilverPalace #Gacha

This is one of my favorite videos from Russia. It is claimed to be of an "advance robotic combat soldier" developed by the Russian MoD. Look at Putin's face... even he is embarrassed. But the Russian media ran with the story anyway. Any 10-year-old can see it is an ATV with a manikin on it that is being driven remotely by a human. It is nothing more than a cheap parlor trick, magic, smoke and mirrors... But it probably cost the Russian tax payers hundreds of millions of rubles over several years to "develop." This is probably the best analogy I have come across of what Russia is at its core: fake, a lie, corrupt and brainwashed. 007: First Light is looking to be an amazing game. Developed by the same people behind the HITMAN franchise, it combines the open-ended levels of Hitman with setpieces on the scale of Uncharted. Major Features: - New focus on Combat, you can throw almost any object around the environment at enemies during combat, or throw enemies themselves for finishers - "Bluffing" is an ability that allows you to lie and convince enemies to allow you entry with no suspicion - You can even throw your weapon at enemies if you run out of ammo - Hacking is a major ability that works a lot like Watch Dogs, it is helpful in both combat and in stealth for distracting enemies - Bond gets a host of unique gadgets such as the Q-Lens which highlight interesting opportunities - New gadgets are developed as you progress through the story - Focus Mode is a slow-mo mode for percision shots - Combat challenges taking place around various locations from the story and has a dedicated leaderboard - Experience points can be spent on new gadget upgrades, weapons and unique outfits - IO will release new challenges constantly post-launch 007 First Light is releasing May 27th on Xbox, PC, PS5 and Switch 2, I am really excited for this game as a huge fan of the recent Hitman trilogy, I have a good feeling that this is going to end up a banger and very replayable like hitman!

Sleeping Dogs was slept on and hugely underrated. For a game that came out almost 14 years ago, it had a development budget of 30 million dollars and it managed to do such a fantastic job at everything that it had to offer. For starters, this game had a solid story, great character, amazing fighting mechanics with different finishers, parkour, good driving mechanics and small details that some open world games today wont even bother to add. Melee Combat is fantastic, you can grab different objects from the ground and smash NPCs with them or throw at them, this added so much versatility in combat. Finishers are also extremely satisfying, any object that is highlighted in red will guarantee you that you'll get to see one of the most fun ways to finish off an enemy. While driving mechanics were nothing too spectacular, it still offered you a great way to play while driving by having Ramming added to vehicles so you could push other vehicles away while you're being chased, in-game races were also very fun to play in my experience! Its a real shame this game didn't get nowhere near the recognition it deserved because I truly believe if we'd ever gotten a sequel, it would improve upon everything that the first game lacked and it would be an amazing franchise.

Control Resonant is one of the easiest "recommends" of the year. Taking on the perspective of Dylan, the brother of the protagonist Jesse from the first game, the game feels like the opposite side of the same coin making it feel wholly like Control and simultaneously wholly different. The combat is limited only by your imagination. Change which plane gravity pulls you toward mid-fight, shifting the world around you. Open with a shortsword chaining into iron gauntlets to pummel the enemy on their backfoot, and drill into them to fully stagger. Within the first 5 hours you'll make several choices about your build and your weapons that will make your approach distinct and unique, branching off into dozens of combinations. The story is compelling, starting a little slow but gathering momentum for what can only be described as a snowball story tumbling rapidly down a hill for the lion's share of the game. While I prefer the ethereal mind-bending office space environment of the first game, the sprawling cityscape folding around itself is the perfect playground for Dylan's skillset to shine. I can't recommend this game enough. And this is NOT a sponsored post.

We got new Crimson Desert gameplay, showing off the combat, progression system and more of the world, and this game continues to look insane. Here are the highlights: - Multiple different weapon types including: Sword and shield, Spears, Greatswords, Axes, Dual-wield swords and ranged weapons such as guns - Use mounts during combat such as bears, mechs and dragons - Melee combat allows you to utilize actual martial arts and massive combos - Three playable characters, Cliff seems to mostly use melee weapons, a female is focused on magic and ranged weapons such as a rifle, and a male orc who serves a barbarian role. It does seem like you can mix and match abilities between them - You can grab, throw and kick enemies to create chains of attacks. Slide is another ability that can be chained with double jumps and kicks - Swap weapons mid combat and you can enhance weapnos with elements such as spark damage - A grapple hook can be used to scale up walls and swing into attacks - Progression is based on acquiring artifacts, which are found by defeating bosses and at the end of dungeons as well as hidden across the world - Some skills are earned by observing others use them out in the world - You can use a sort of helicopter blades umbrella to fly around the world - Buy, find or craft gear to use in combat. Gear is upgradeable as well - Crafting/Upgrading is highly detailed, for example you can go and mine for certain materials in caves, you will also need to hunt animals or defeat bosses for certain materials as well - Crafting materials can be obtained through quests and in hidden locations as well - Add special effects to weapons and armors at certain vendors such as Wizards - There are flying bosses that you will have to fight in the skies such as flying metallic birds that you can land on Crimson Desert is launching on March 19th on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Mac. Every time we see more of this game, it feels like a true GOTY contender that will be an absolute amazing massive experience. I truly hope it lives up to the hype!
