SimCopter was interesting game from Maxis. One cool feature was that you could import the city you've built in SimCity2000 to fly the missions in. Another hidden feature was you could "borrow" Apache from a military base to wreck havoc, or try to down that pesky UFO. #retrogaming

First time I've put together a retro PC, I was only playing SimCopter. A year and a half later, I've had a legit, time period correct PC with 3Dfx and Matrox Mystique G220, and I still only play SimCopter

This woman arrived well before closing, she was trying to pick out the perfect game for a gift. She made her choice just in time for closing and was already waiting in line. Relieved she was excited about getting the perfect gift. She was next in line at the register, right before she was able to be rung up, the cashier declared that the store was closed and refused to ring her out. Normally in most stores they finish the line and close the registers, but this guy was by himself and decided once the store was closed, he wasn’t going to help anyone else, if you were that woman what else could you do, would you leave and try to find another store that had what you needed or would you be persistent that they ring you out?

I personally think that eliminating stunt failures was the right decision. The game is prone to chaos, and if that element had been there, the difficulty would have been much higher. My impression from playing the game was that CrossWorlds was a game about how well you could combine drifting and tricks, and how well you could sustain acceleration. Of course, at first I questioned the lack of failure in the stunts, but when I tried it, it was extremely exhilarating and super fun to build up the combos.
