Thank you for this song. My family has served in the military since the revolutionary war all the way to my son who got out of the Air Force in 2019. It was the first time we had an officer in our family. He is a USAFA grad. My cousin died in Vietnam and my dad, a radar-avionics tech, was severely injured in Laos when the CIA pulled him from his flight line in Thailand to lay radar beacons on the Ho Chi Minh trail only to be attacked. We have never been able to get his Purple Heart which is due to him. We promised him on his deathbed we would get it. We won’t be sending any more of our blood to fight wars for Israel, the bankers, and the military industrial complex. If our grandsons chose to wear a uniform and serve their communities, they can become firefighters and paramedics.
