Designed as a customizable shell for DIY enthusiasts, it allows folks to pair their Smart Doll with sensors, servo motors, and other modules, transforming them into an IoT-enabled companion capable of connecting to APIs like ChatGPT or IFTTT to control home appliances and more. For the first time, Smart Doll can truly live up to its name, limited only by the physical space inside and the creativity of those who dare to make it their own. There’s still work to do—like redesigning the spine to create more internal space for rechargeable batteries, modules, and servomotors. I’m also exploring motorized body panels that can open automatically—features that require retooling molds. While it’ll take some time before the release, I believe it will be worth the wait. This Xiao Zhi powered model also features an optional screen that displays readable replies and emoji-based expressions, enhancing interactions with visual feedback. Smart Doll’s quirky responses to misheard inputs often lead to unexpected lols. At first, their replies are unpredictable, adding to their charm and making conversations feel organic and fun. However, they become more accurate over time as they learn from interactions. The AI models powering Smart Doll are trained in Natural Language Understanding, enabling them to grasp context, intent, and nuances in user input for more meaningful responses. They also support context retention across multiple conversation turns, allowing for smooth and continuous dialogue. They adapt and refine their responses as they engage in more conversations, making interactions feel increasingly natural and personalized. We will provide tutorials and #3Dprinting files so folks can build their modules and install AI models such as ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Qwen2.5 72B, etc. This way, owners can tweak their Smart Doll’s voice, accent, and personality to reflect their creativity, ideals, and identity. I'm proud to introduce you to "MolDock Agent Swarm", which is my entry to the BSVA Hackathon ( MolDock is a molecular attraction testing system that uses smart contracts in BSV to verify the mathematics calculated by distributed agents who are testing drug efficacy. The swarm has a distribution agent that runs here on my PC, and a local agent that anyone can run by visiting If you start an agent and run tests, it should pay out rewards which are 100sats per test regardless of success or failure (between 50% and 75% fail) and if you succeed, you get an additional 10 sats per atom in the drug (15-50 atoms). The calculations for tests that pass are regenerated inside stateful smart contracts that track the absolute docking force of the atom for the full test (one cycle per atom in the molecule for each molecule in the docking location) meaning that for a molecule with 20 atoms testing a docking location with 30 atoms there will be 20 cycles of 30 rounds of maths. All the maths is calculated using script primitives, so there can be no cheating. I'm aiming for 1.5M transactions by thursday afternoon, so please jump in if you'd like to do some calculations.

And please, everyone together with P’Faye, remember to drink lots of water.” --------------------- Perhaps what moved me the most wasn’t some grand or overly sweet words, but the way Atom naturally includes P’Faye in every sentence. One moment it’s “P’Faye,” the next moment it’s still “P’Faye.” Even the reminder to drink more water, Atom knew that was something closely associated with Faye, so she carefully and sincerely repeated it in her own way. Small things like this are actually the hardest to fake, because they come from genuine care and true respect for another person. To be honest, when I first learned that Faye would have a new partner, I was worried. I worried that this new person might not be brave enough to stand beside her through all the pressure. I worried that the acting wouldn’t feel convincing enough, that the connection wouldn’t feel real enough, or worse, that they wouldn’t be thoughtful enough to truly appreciate someone like Faye. "Fight or flight"... how far could you even run? In real life, you cannot escape your problems, and they must be solved, the sooner the better. But when there is a war in your country, you never know at what moment-day or night-your life's problems will be multiplied by a hundred. Tonight, russia once again carried out a massive attack on Kyiv. It is already known that there are 11 dead and many more wounded civilians.

I realized we needed a quick and dirty tutorial video showing how to attach the upcoming sofubi wig for Smart Doll. This is the third mold iteration. While there is still room for improvement, I feel this version is finally at a point where it can be released. As always, we still need to put it through a bit more testing and write the customary wall-of-text "why you should not buy this" post before launch. The wig is compatible with all Smart Doll heads, but please be sure to read the Before You Buy section before deciding whether it's right for you. One of the reasons we're exploring sofubi wigs is that the lessons learned will help us develop some of the more crazy anime hairstyles needed for upcoming licensed characters. Traditional fiber wigs are incredibly versatile, but there are some shapes that are much easier to achieve with a molded solution. Another benefit is that sofubi wigs are much easier to maintain than traditional fiber wigs. No brushing, detangling, or styling is required, which some folks may appreciate. Folks who don't like plastic hair, like the kind found on many figurines, probably won't like it. However, folks who don't like traditional fiber wigs may find this to be a happy middle ground. :-) #smartdoll #anime #bjd

Naval Ravikant’s checklist for starting a company “The most important thing is there are no formulas. At the end of the day, you have to do what you love, and you have to do it even though people tell you it’ll never work. It was just following a program. I was doing this and that and that and none of that is illuminating. Also, third thing, the chess player can decide I don't want to play chess anymore, from now on I will play Go or from now on I will play tennis.
