Revamp Space Translation (11/10/2025) Barcode: Thank you to P’AloneNew for inviting me to be part of this project. I feel really good. This is actually my first project with GMMTV, and I’m very happy — it’s been a genuine and very positive experience. Speaking of Ciar, it’s a really challenging role. Because he’s a vampire, it’s not something that reflects real life, so I couldn’t draw from real-life character traits. It’s like being in a novel — I had to explore and figure out what he’s like, which was a lot of fun. Getting to discover this character was both challenging and fulfilling every time I worked. Thank you so much — I feel really good about it. 👏 ========= Prem: I have a question for Barcode. I want to know — when you were playing the role, did you have a core principle or something you held onto? ========== P’AloneNew: Like, something he grounded himself on? ========== Prem: Yeah, because the character Ciar is quite extreme. So did you have a core idea or mindset going into a scene — like, “I am Ciar, so if I do this, it makes sense”? Something like that? ========== Barcode: Honestly, it was more about doing my homework. There wasn’t a fixed core or anything like that. But once I got to know the character deeply enough, I could just play him naturally. I didn’t have to consciously think like, “If I’m Ciar, I need to be cool, have a low voice.” It wasn’t about that. It’s more about what’s inside the character — what he’s been through, what happened in the previous scenes, what his backstory is, what just happened before coming into this scene, and how that made him feel. That’s a fundamental part of the acting craft. ========== Prem: So, Code, you place a lot of importance on preparation and studying the character before filming, right? ========== Barcode: Absolutely. I give it a lot of importance. I feel like the process of preparation is like 80:20. Everything we show on screen mostly comes from what we’ve done behind the scenes. The shot Tiger hit for me and my son. 2018 Open at Carnoustie. My son was 8. Not into golf yet — but the Open was in our back garden, and this might be his only chance to see Tiger live. So I brought him to the course and we went hunting. Found Tiger on the 8th. Swamped. Thousands deep. My boy couldn't see a thing. Local knowledge. We skipped ahead to the 11th and waited. Clear line of sight across to the 10th. Got there before the crowds. Tiger hit his tee shot on 10 into the bunker. 151 from the pin, a few feet from the face. And then he hit the greatest bunker shot I have ever seen live. Just us on the side of 11. Almost nobody else around. It felt like he hit it just for us. My boy is a caddie at Carnoustie now. And he tells everyone about the time his dad brought him to see the Tiger — and the Tiger put on a show for what felt like just the two of them. Robert De Niro originally wanted to play Max Cherry in Jackie Brown, the role that eventually went to Robert Forster. However, Quentin Tarantino had written the role with Forster in mind and had already promised him the part. Tarantino explains… “I wrote Jackie Brown, and I decided at some point in writing the script that Robert Forster would be terrific as Max Cherry. So, while I’m still writing the script, I bump into Robert Forster - we go to the same coffee shop. ….so I decided I’m gonna give him the part, because I figure, look, this would be a big, big deal part. So if I don’t give him the part, then once I’m done with it and it gets out in the town, then it’s gonna be Gene Hackman and Paul Newman and people like that, and it would be pretty hard to say no to. But if I just give him the part right now, I’ve got the juice to get it through, and now I can’t take it back because I wouldn’t be a man of my word. So to lock myself into that decision, I give it to him before I finish writing it. And then now comes the time to do it. Robert De Niro reads it, and he wants to be in it, but he wants to play Max. And I go, “Well, look, you would be a fantastic Max, but I’ve already given that to Robert Forster, and I’m a man of my word. I can’t take it back.” Now, De Niro is very much a man of his word, so he understands that. He gets that. And he’s just like, “Yeah, yeah. That’s just disappointing. It’s just regretful.” I go, “What?” “Well, just because, you know, you were thinking about him, so you wrote it for him. But if we had had more dinners and hung out a little bit more, then you would have been thinking about me and you would have written it for me. And I understand what happened, but that could have been changed if we had spent more time with each other before this.” And so he kind of gives me the – “just think about it for a couple of days, all right? - and then let’s talk again. Maybe Bob (Robert Foster) could play Louis, the other guy.” So then I actually have Bob read Louis with me, and then read Max. And if that could work, maybe that could work. But no, everything that made him perfect for Max made him wrong for Louis. And so I get on the phone with De Niro — and I go, “Yeah, you know, I explored that. But no, everything about him that makes him perfect for Max makes him wrong to play this ex-convict guy.” And he goes, “Yeah, yeah, I get that. I get that, I get that, I get that. Okay, so tell me about this Louis character.” And I go, “You would consider playing Louis?” “Yeah, it’s a good character. It’s a good movie. I wanna be part of it. It’s a good character. I wanted the other character, but yeah, this is a good character. I’d be happy to play it.” I go, “Well, you didn’t let me know that before.” He goes, “Well, I didn’t wanna let you off the hook. I wanted you on the hook. But now if that ship has sailed, then let’s talk about Louis.” And then it was a done deal.”

This is Bubba. Bubba is 16 years old. Before coming to Layla’s Heart Ranch and Rescue, Bubba lived through severe abuse for 16 years. We were told he was beaten… even body slammed into the ground. He has always been terrified of people. Truthfully, I am really the only person Bubba trusts. But yesterday, something happened. Bubba got out and ran all the way to my house… then sat outside waiting for me. And for the very first time… Bubba walked on a leash. Sure it took 30 mins to go maybe 100 feet and part of that I had to army crawl to get him to keep moving, but he did it! He has never let anyone do that before. This is the same dog who once flinched at human touch. The same dog who was too scared to trust the world around him. Now he rolls over for belly rubs. Gives kisses. And looks for me when he’s scared. He’s elderly, so we don’t know how much time we have left with him. But my heart is full knowing that after all these years…Bubba finally knows what love feels like. What safety feels like. Maybe some people won’t understand why this video matters so much. But in rescue, these moments are everything. Especially now. I haven’t been fundraising the way I normally do after losing Tuxedo. Truthfully, I’m still trying to function through the grief. But the animals still need us to keep going. We are trying to raise $15,000 for May operating expenses: dog food, vet visits, utilities, kennel and sanctuary payments, and continued care for animals like Bubba who deserve safety, patience, and love for the rest of their lives. Y’all need to understand that the topic of “Mixtape Mount Rushmore” literally wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for 50 Cent, he created the blueprint. Before 50, what we know as a “mixtape” didn’t exist. Artists would just send some bars over someone else’s beat to DJs for their tapes. 50 turned them into his own records, he started to re-do people’s hooks and make it an entire song of his own, put on his own self titled tape. I WILL NOW RELEASE THE TRUTH BEHIND CHEMTRAILS ACCORDING TO THE CLASSIFIED FILES Before encountering this video, I have never once seen ANYONE get this right. NEVER! It all ties into PRESALT GASOLINE DRILLING. VIDEO: It's A Painful Experience – Pastor Reacts After Fire Guts Household of David Church The Senior Pastor of Household of David Church, Lagos, Olusola Osunmakinde, has reacted to the Wednesday fire that burnt down the entire church auditorium, saying "It is a painful experience." According to Osunmakinde, someone who walked into the church premises mocked him by asking, "Where was Jesus when this happened?" The pastor spoke in a video shared on the church’s Instagram account a few hours after the incident occurred. VIDEO: It's A Painful Experience – Pastor Reacts After Fire Guts Household of David Church The Senior Pastor of Household of David Church, Lagos, Olusola Osunmakinde, has reacted to the Wednesday fire that burnt down the entire church auditorium, saying "It is a painful experience." According to Osunmakinde, someone who walked into the church premises mocked him by asking, "Where was Jesus when this happened?" The pastor spoke in a video shared on the church’s Instagram account a few hours after the incident occurred. The Household of David Church which is located on Surulere Road, Ikeja Local Government Area of Lagos State reportedly caught fire, and property worth millions of naira were destroyed. The Lagos State Fire Service spokesperson, Amodu Shakiri, disclosed to our correspondent that the church’s auditorium ceiling was overheating, which caused the ceiling to collapse and ignite a fire. The church programme tagged, 'Mercy Conference', was to start today, January 31, 2024 before the church was engulfed by fire. Osunmakinde stated that the church air conditioners, chairs, and other equipment were all burnt. He said, “As we know, 'Mercy Conference' starts today, but something happened that I just want to put a message out there to people. "I came here this morning, everybody was setting up, everything was going fine. All of a sudden, we started hearing that there was fire and something up there on the roof of the church. "I know there would be reactions, and people will say that and that, but that is none of my concern now. The most important thing is this, we thank God no life was lost and we thank God for everything. "We are not too discouraged but we believe in God that we will still go on with the conference. "To everyone out there, we are not sad, we are happy for all things work together, the Bible didn't say all good things, all things both bad and ugly. From the poet, David Whyte: Humans have an uncanny ability to know things about the world beyond their conscious awareness, long before they can articulate what's going on. He says: "I experienced this in the African brush on a walking safari, which are usually quite dangerous. On one walk, our guide suddenly stopped us. We'd come to a clearing, and he just stopped us immediately. He said, "Everyone, stop." We stood stock still for the longest time. Then a male lion put its head up just 20 yards away from us. We had to back out really slowly, but we were within charging distance. We were in a dangerous perimeter. Afterwards, I said to him, "What happened? How did you know there was a lion there?" He said, "I don't know. I just knew there was something there." So for him, it was probably the slight aroma, maybe a few molecules of lion, which he'd be familiar with, which his conscious mind couldn't understand. It could have been the way the grass was laid down. It could have been the spoor tracks that he saw only hazily. But all of those combined together were integrated at this central imagination that said, 'Lion, lion close.' We have this ability to bring together in very practical ways things which are not recognized by the strategic mind, rather than the conscious mind, because this is equally conscious. In fact, it's a deeper conscious. It pays a deeper, conscious attention to the world."
