Marketing team deserves a raise

As cool as they are, I think these apps are still clinging onto older software paradigms that are pure legacy: files, windows, some sort of 2d workspace with flat cards representing "places" to visit. I think that we'll see much more wild variations of this going forward.

Watching Cursor set up our full dev environment fully in the cloud yesterday, based on only some documentation we had was mind-blowing. It even created a branch with an file to make future setup for itself much easier. Now if we could start using Auto with these agents and not run out of tokens, that would be amazing.

Everyone is getting an upgrade so how can Cursor left behind.

the loop now is: idea → agent codes → agent demos → ship we just compressed weeks into hours and skipped three job titles the hard part was never the coding. it's still knowing what to build.

the pace here is actually wild. feels like a completely different tool every 3 months and thats not an exaggeration

The beginning of a new era! I would like however that my locally installed mcps can easily be imported automatically.... Also plan mode. Debug mode, and ask mode still missing online!!

yeah, it's wild how fast things are shifting. feels like we just got used to one framework and bam, there's another one everyone's raving about.

This is what I expected from “AI agents” tbh. Tried Devin, paid $20, it mostly just read my repo, made 2 tiny changes, opened a PR… and that was it. This feels way closer to the promise — and it being free makes it even better.

Fundamentally. Not just how it's written. How it's conceived, deployed, and how it evolves after launch. Software that remembers, adapts, and grows with its users. That's the shift we're building toward at Taskade.
