Sola Scriptura Taught By Jesus! When sola scriptura is defined correctly, you can see it taught, and practiced all throughout the Bible. What different cults like Roman Catholicism do is they try to misrepresent what sola scriptura means to create strawman arguments!

Augustine on Sola Scriptura with Jeff Durbin. The early church definitely had a Protestant view of scripture.

Wes Huff beautifully explains Sola Scriptura: "Sola Scriptura is the perspective that inspired Scripture is the sole infallible rule of faith & practice for the Church. The perspective is a historical one & can be validated by numerous individuals pre-dating the Reformation."

"Sola Scriptura doesn't mean the Nicene Creed doesn't have authority. It means Scripture alone is the sole final authority in matters of truth and doctrine and everything to which Scripture is addressed." From the January 30 edition of The Briefing. Link:

Your 66 book canon is a 19th century invention, it was not apostolic at all. So when you say to appeal to “Scripture alone” i say which Scripture? and who had the authority to determine it? I’ll tell you who, The British & Foreign Bible Society in 1830, for money saving purposes. Sad. Sola Scriptura is not taught in Scripture. No verse states “Scripture alone” or “all souls are subject to the scriptures alone” no verbiage like this exists in the Bible. Protestants cannot produce a single biblical passage that clearly teaches Sola Scriptura alone excluding oral tradition. In fact the Bible repeatedly teaches to hold fast to oral apostolic tradition.

Where does the Bible teach Sola Scriptura? "If we're gonna say we believe in Jesus, it might behoove us to hold to His view of scripture." (Dr. James White 𝔚𝔥𝔦𝔱𝔢𝔅𝔢𝔞𝔯𝔡)

“This isn’t about cherry-picking quotes. How did Scripture function? Did it function differently from tradition in the ancient church? The answer is yes.” Michael Horton responds to Trent Horn on Sola Scriptura in the church fathers.

Sola scriptura was taught by Jesus and His apostles! The only reason someone wants to dismiss this doctrine taught by Jesus is so they can include all of their man-made traditions and pretend they’re divinely inspired!
